So, here’s the deal.

I hit the pool for a quick hour swim this morning, and right toward the end, I started feeling this weird, nagging ache in my nipples. Honestly, I didn't think much of it at first—I just figured it was my chest muscles acting up since I went hard on chest day at the gym yesterday.
But man, once I got out and hopped in the shower, the pain really kicked in, and it hasn't let up all day.

Seriously, it’s not even funny. If anyone even breathed on them too hard, I think they'd knock my teeth out—and I mean that even if it were my own mother doing the squeezing. It hurts just to touch them, and even taking a deep breath feels super uncomfortable.

Anyway, I wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with this kind of thing? Any advice would be huge because I can't get to a doctor until Monday, though I'm really hoping I don't have to wait that long.

btw I'm 19.

Cramping during puberty is pretty standard—I was dealing with it from about age 15 to 17 myself... as for anything later than that, I wouldn't know.

Man, first time I'm even hearing about that.

Looks like you're growing boobs.

Ignore my comment, I just couldn't help myself.

First off, I’m being completely serious here—this isn't some joke.
I really need to point out that there is a very real possibility you might be experiencing breast tissue growth.
In medical terms, this condition is known as gynecomastia, and it’s actually quite common within the American bodybuilding community.
The most frequent culprit? Misuse of anabolic steroids—which makes sense, given your mention of hitting the gym.
IF YOU ARE USING ANYONE TYPE OF PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS, YOU NEED TO STOP IMMEDIATELY!!!
Beyond that, gynecomastia is also frequently seen during puberty or as people age—it’s usually just a byproduct of hormonal imbalances, whether those stem from certain medications, underlying health issues, or simply the natural shifts of growing up or getting older.
Head over to http://forum.bodybuilding.com and just search for the term "gynecomastia."
You’ll quickly see that it’s a far more common issue than you might think.

lol look, I know what gyno is, and for the record, I don't touch steroids. 🤣 hell, I’ve never taken anything stronger than a scoop of protein powder in my entire life.

I mean, yeah, gyno was the first thing that popped into my head too. I know it can show up during puberty, but I always just assumed if it was gonna happen, it’d be like, when you're 14 or 15 years old or something.

I guess I should say that nothing really hurts anymore. Honestly, I have no clue what that whole thing even was, but man, I really hope it isn't the start of some gyno situation.
