Columboπ π π
The absolute best episode has to be the one featuring Leonard Nimoy as Mr. Spock.

Poirot is a bit too precious for my taste. Columbo is the real deal... β
To quote Hercule Poirotβyou've really rubbed me the wrong way... π² π

Maybe Poirot, but definitely not POIROT! Sure, his walk is a little weird, but heβs got better moves than Columbo. Plus, his movies actually have tension... unlike those boring Columbo ones.

π€£ You were the one who wrote "pirot" first, so don't act all high and mighty now. π€£
Unbelievable, what kind of people are out there? π
Anyway, it's Poirot. Like they'd say back home, he's a total backdoor man. π π

Iβm not sure if this has been posted yet, but man, I just heard that Peter Falk passed away today at 84. He was the absolute legend behind Inspector Columbo.

Itβs a real shame,
just last week I was busy downloading every single season of that show, and I remember scrolling through Wikipedia to check if he was still kicking and how old he was. I actually felt a little relieved seeing he was still with us, only for him to pass away just a few days later.

RIP Columbo.
Man, Iβve watched pretty much every single one of them back when they were originally airing on TVβthose movies are just absolute classics...
And honestly, it feels kind of silly trying to compare them to other crime shows out there, because with this show, you actually see who the killer is right from the jump π

Letβs not get ahead of ourselves by generalizing.
*Columbo* isn't some high-brow cinematic masterpiece designed to boost your IQ. It was actually crafted to be one of the most original and entertaining detective shows ever made. Since you know who the killer is from the very first frame, the audience isn't guessing "who did it"; instead, we're watching the psychological profile unfold in real time. When you factor in that *Columbo* stays glued to the killer's side from start to finish, it adds an extra layer of charm to the whole experience... π
