Hardly. It all comes down to Lucas since he’s got a total monopoly on Star Wars. Honestly, maybe it's better this way after the mountain of garbage he pumped out in those last three installments... those newer ones, god, what an absolute joke those prequels were...

Hmm, I doubt a movie centered on that Vorkosigan character would be any good. Personally, I found the whole series quite tedious.

I honestly wish we could see more movies where they actually commit to the bit—you know? Like, if you're watching a gripping drama or a high-stakes thriller that’s absolutely blowing my mind, I want the intensity to carry over into everything. Specifically, when those romantic scenes roll around, I'd love for them to be a bit more... well, explicit!—letting things go all the way and showing real intimacy instead of just cutting to black right when it gets interesting.

And maybe there could be a specific rating or label for these kinds of films—just so parents and kids are on the same page before they hit play.

Miles is absolutely legendary... if they actually made movies out of these classics with the author working on them directly, the humor would be untouchable, just like the Nine Princes in Amber series by Zelazny.
Those Lords of Light books are basically three volumes of pure sci-fi bliss, heavy on the humor and sex... such a wild ride.

Honestly, if they did it right, it could actually turn out great. Just shoot everything against a green screen and render it meticulously to match the look of the comics or the animation... 🙂
The real question is, who would they cast as Cort? Maybe Olivier Martinez if he were a bit taller, or perhaps Billy Zane? 🤔

I’m with you on that—Milesa definitely needs a screen adaptation. He’ll probably be next in line for a movie, and I wouldn't be surprised if Elijah Wood ends up taking the lead role... 😁

Now that I’ve finally sat down and watched "Indiana Jones" in its entirety, calling it anything less than a masterpiece would be a flat-out lie. 😁
