Lens and Lille are seriously getting on my nerves. If any small-town clubs are going to make a run in Europe, it should be Auxerre or Nantes (though they’re unfortunately stuck in the relegation zone right now)

If you want to talk about a small-town club, look at Auxerre (pop. 37,790)... honestly, if it wasn't for Roux, they’d be playing in some tiny local league down in the sticks.

Lille (226,800...with a metro area of around 1,143,125).

Lens is basically a rural outpost, but man, their fans are incredible.

In my humble opinion, the absolute best fans in the country have to be the Olympique Marseille supporters
Marseille Ultras
South Winners
Fanatics
Yankees
...
I can't quite recall which specific group I was thinking of—my memory isn't what it used to be, I guess.

GO OM!!!

I get why NYCFC fans lean right. Honestly, I’d be losing my mind too if people were moving into the suburbs and taking over everything...

New York City FC essentially has two distinct factions within its supporter base—you’ve got the right-wing crowd, then there's the left-wing contingent, or if I'm being more precise, it’s really just this sort of mixed bag of people.

The OM fans actually all cheer together—it’s a mix of newcomers and locals, really—and you don't see those right-wing groups hanging around. They pretty much identify themselves as antifascists, I guess.😘

Atlanta vs. Sochaux ended in a 3:3 draw—with Atlanta scoring twice in the 90th minute, no less. Honestly, I think Houillierov's management style is finally starting to show its cracks, and at this rate, there's no way they're taking home the next championship.

And I’m personally crossing my fingers that Olympique Marseille takes the title next time🙏
