The Lake House

I just found out today that this movie is essentially a remake of the Korean film 'Siwoare' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0282599/). Even though they supposedly did a direct copy-paste job, I have a feeling the original is actually superior to the American version. I'll watch the original in the next few days and let you know my thoughts. 😉

👎 Honestly? It’s just your typical commercial piece of junk—overly polished cinematography, uninspired direction, a totally bland script, and a plot that is ABSOLUTELY impossible to follow ( and an ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE ending! 👎 TERRIBLE! When Keanu Reeves grabbed Sandra Bullock's head, I actually thought he was going to rip it right off! Poor Sandra Bullock! ). 👎

I don't get this movie at all. How were they even talking to each other if he was dead? 😵 WTF! Okay, so the genre is listed as "fantasy," but the scenes feel so incredibly disjointed and random!👎

It’s a charming concept, though the movie itself feels a bit nonsensical. Technically, they could have started their relationship back in 2004 right after she broke up with her boyfriend and rented The Lake House. 🤷

But then again, we wouldn't have a movie to watch. 😁
