Is there actually any way to fix my vision naturally? I heard some guy Dr. Palahniuk in Washington, D.C. claims he can do it, but folks back in Pittsburgh told me it’s just a total scam. If anyone knows anything about this, let me know. Thanks

My husband and I actually went to see Dr. Palahniuk, and honestly, I guess it was just a total waste of money.

Can you walk me through how this actually works and what kind of results we're looking at? Like, why does it even turn out that way?

Hey, hit me up. I’m actually serious—I was planning on showing up, but I don't want to just drift in looking like some lost soul wandering through a fog.

so we basically
first you sign this waiver saying you won't sue him if things go south. then he smears some honey on your forehead, shoves these glasses on your face, and makes you do all these eye exercises—looking up, down, whatever—to supposedly strengthen your eye muscles. you head home feeling great and start practicing, reading stuff through those glasses, and you kind of convince yourself that your vision is actually improving. if you're a naive sucker like I was, you might even try driving without them and just lie to yourself about seeing better. if you're lucky, like I was, you don't crash. eventually, you realize you still can't see a thing, so you go to an optometrist to get checked out, and they just confirm you were being gullible because your prescription hasn't changed at all. oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Dr. Palahniuk will probably offer to pay you to write glowing reviews in magazines.

I caught a segment on this on TV the other day. Some doctor was discussing it—I can't quite remember if it was Palahniuk...

Since this topic has been around for a while, does anyone have any recent updates? It’s really piqued my curiosity...
How are the prices trending lately?

I went in for an interview with Dr. Palahniuk, and you won't believe the nerve of this guy—he actually suggested he’d hire me if I agreed to be his girlfriend or some kind of mistress. Naturally, I walked out right then and there. Honestly, you can draw your own conclusions about what kind of man he is. To make matters worse, a friend of mine went to see him for an eye exam, and she said the whole thing was a complete scam; her vision hasn't improved one bit. And get this: he isn't even a real doctor. He didn't study medicine at all, just some other field—I can't recall the specifics—but it was something along the lines of "alternative wellness." In the US, what he's doing isn't even recognized because it lacks any legitimate medical foundation. It simply doesn't exist in the world of actual medicine.

Exactly. I actually work as a nurse, so I was out hunting for a job when I ran into him at a local CVS. He mentioned I should come in for an interview, so I showed up, only to find out the whole situation is an absolute nightmare.
