Well, if you're looking for that old-school charm, go ahead and head over to Italy or Germany to appreciate those traditional vibes! But hey, if you actually want to witness what modern football is all about, just hop on a plane to London and grab a ticket for an Arsenal FC vs. Chelsea FC match—it'll be worth every single penny for the atmosphere alone!
It really looks like most people here just want to pay the absolute minimum while still expecting to watch a powerhouse like FC Barcelona!

It’s honestly hilarious how some people think handing out tickets at elementary and middle schools is a move. Then, once those kids head up North, they look down on them like they're some kind of outsiders. Like, what the hell do they even know about the history of my club? They don't know anything.

On the flip side, how am I supposed to believe that buying a ticket actually helps American soccer develop when my favorite club just sells off their best talent like Ljubojević only to go out and buy Nowotny? Makes zero sense.

Look, the people lecturing us are the fans who show up just to scream in the stands. That’s not why I go to games. This whole debate is pointless because our motivations for going to matches and how we view the entire situation are completely different. I don't give a damn about Dinamo Chicago, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, or anyone else under the excuse of "supporting our club because it's ours." I couldn't care less about players making more money than I ever will just to play a game. For a while now, I've viewed soccer strictly as entertainment. I'm not about to drop even three bucks on something I don't actually care about.

Just look at the stadium attendance in those countries compared to America. It tells you everything you need to know about how much people actually care and what they think about the state of their domestic leagues.

Look, you guys have to understand something. We’ve got these young players out there who have basically dedicated their entire lives to this game. All they know is soccer. You wouldn't believe the sacrifices they've made, or even half of what I've seen firsthand... Out there, you have these massive clubs just throwing money around, paying absolute fortunes for some average kid. So, why on earth would I bother heading down to the stadium to watch someone like Igor mus, Jasmin Agić, or Marija Cvitanović? It just doesn't make sense.

Don't just paint those other countries as some kind of moral gold standard...
Look, I'm trying to tell you that we just need to build a culture of actually showing up to the stadium. Once you get more fans through the gates, you get more sponsors, which means more cash, better club management, and ultimately, better players...

I'm trying to explain that we need a real culture of showing up at the stadium. If more people show up, we get more sponsors, more cash, better club management, and eventually, better players...

What kind of "culture" are you even talking about? People go where they want to go. If nobody feels like going to the stadium, the stands stay empty. Simple as that. People watch what they actually enjoy watching. It isn't rocket science.

A club is supposed to attract sponsors, investors, and fans.
Not have fans carry the sponsors, the investors, and the quality of the league on their backs.

We’re going to find our way back to those days of old-school glory; those moments of pure pride and prestige will return. Some people might jump on the bandwagon then, but there will always be those of us standing by this club unconditionally.

Dinamo Chicago 👋 👋

And to all you "glory hunters" and "Anglophiles" out there, just remember one thing: to them, you aren't actually fans of Olympique de Marseille or Paris Saint-Germain; you're just common folks from the outskirts who don't have a local team to call your own, so you settle for someone else's greatness. You can keep sucking up to them if you want, but we’re going to go in there this Thursday and absolutely wreck them, proving once and for all that trophies and success have nothing to do with true loyalty to the club. 😉 They can play their fancy modern football, they can boast about having the most talented youngsters or the flashiest, highest-paid halftime shows, but as far as I'm concerned, they're completely worthless—just like FC Barcelona, Arsenal FC, or Ekranas.

Boys are back on the road ... ihaaa 😁

Speaking of Marseille, I actually took the biggest beating of my entire life as a supporter while I was over there. And it wasn't even from the Marseille ultras, but from some guys from the Middle East. In that city, it feels like the Arab and African communities are the ones really running the show, while the locals feel more like a minority in their own home 😁

We really ought to head back there again, just to show those pretenders what real grit looks like 😁
