I just finished reading the book and it was honestly fantastic. It really reminded me of Lolita...

That is genuinely one of the most ridiculous takes I've ever heard. How on earth could that book remind you of Lolita? 😵 😵

I just finished reading this book... honestly, the whole thing was absolute garbage. As for the movie adaptation... I suppose if you’re into it, maybe they can salvage a few decent sex scenes from the wreckage.

So, I finally finished the book. Honestly? It didn't shock me nearly as much as all the hype suggested it would—but hey, it wasn't a total snooze-fest either, which is more than I can say for some of the other things I've slogged through lately.
I think I’ll give the movie a shot, mostly just to see how much the director's vision deviates from what I had playing in my head while reading. 🍿

I haven't actually heard of the book... But then one day I was at a Barnes & Noble, totally bluffed my way into grabbing a copy, walked out, and ended up devouring the whole thing in one sitting. It’s honestly amazing. One of the best I've read.
Man, I'd definitely be down to watch the movie though...
