Yeah... I wouldn't believe it if I were you.

Honestly, let’s just go ahead and shower everyone who served in the war with praise, shall we? Look, my father was in the service—he nearly lost his life more times than I can count, and he lived through all the absolute hell that comes with combat. You don't need to lecture me on the realities of it. Someone you knew passed away and they couldn't save them? And now you're this bitter toward doctors... honestly, you really are.
Actually, maybe a little too much so.

On a side note, if my memory serves, aren't you a medical student? If so, when exactly did you manage to gain all this "experience"?

I feel for everyone caught up in the conflict—it’s a tragedy when people are forced to fight side by side—but my heart really goes out to those who didn't make it back. I can't even pinpoint exactly what they were dying for, given that the government is basically a complete disaster right now...
Don't go thinking you're the only one feeling disillusioned—if only more people actually spoke up about this sort of thing..

Oh, please. Let’s just go ahead and shower everyone who served in the military with praise, shall we? Look, my old man was deployed, he nearly didn't make it back a dozen times over, and he dealt with all the hellish realities of combat—you don't need to lecture me on that. So what, someone you knew passed away and they couldn't save them? Is that why you're so bitter toward doctors? Honestly, you really are
actually, maybe a little too much

Against some, sure, but not everyone. But I'm talking specifically about the ones who spent four years misdiagnosing my late mother. It never even crossed their minds to run the necessary tests they should have, for reasons known only to themselves.

I must have acquired him in a past life. 🙄
My mother was the only anesthesiologist in the entire county for years—it was quite the responsibility. 31 miles Where I live, she was in the hospital for barely twenty-four hours—literally just long enough to get home and see her kids before they called her right back in.
How can we really know? We all have that soft spot when it comes to kids—it’s just human nature.

I truly am sorry—really—but are you specifically suggesting I'll turn out to be a bad doctor? Someone else even went as far as saying Genghis Khan is rude, or whatever else
You can't possibly know that, and please, let's not jump to any wild conclusions just because you read one post of mine, or Genghis Khan's, or anyone else's

My mom was literally the only anesthesiologist in the whole damn county for ages... I mean, can you even imagine the pressure? It was just her out there carrying the entire weight of the local hospitals on her shoulders while everyone else just watched... 31 miles Man, I am absolutely losing my mind right now... I live so far away from the hospital, and she was literally only there for twenty-four hours, just a quick stay, and before I even had the chance to get home and see the kids, they're already calling her back in! Like, are you kidding me right now... it's just completely ridiculous...
I mean, how can we even pretend otherwise? Let's be real, we’re all total softies when it comes to kids... everyone has that one massive weakness for them...

Where the hell is this even heading... and honestly, who actually gives a damn? 😕

By the way, is your mom the one suggesting all this stuff about war and hospitals? 🙂

Oh, absolutely—honestly, she’s basically been writing the whole thing.
Well, she certainly didn't hold back on the sarcasm in that other thread... credit where credit is due.

Look, you’re being incredibly rude—just plain ignorant. I didn't even see my own mother during the war, and things certainly haven't improved since then. Honestly, I'm studying medicine just so I can one day help someone as dense as you. You're so arrogant that you probably think you're the center of the universe; I truly cannot wrap my head around people like you, nor can you understand me, nimblestag31, or Genghis Khan.
Here is a little more class for you (Kimberly Nguyen, hats off to you—you were actually reasonable and didn't resort to insults...) All of you can just head back to the sticks. As for me, I'm done posting in this thread—some people here clearly lack any sense of conviction, even if I don't.

Well, you definitely weren't wrong about how malicious she was in that other thread... I'll give her credit for that, I guess...

I'm starting to realize that in America, any total nobody can just breeze through college, but what’s even more pathetic is that these same nobodies are enrolling in med school too....👎

Anyway, leave me out of the "malicious" talk, will ya...😛

I mean, I honestly wouldn't have believed it—you finally realized that in America, absolutely anything can happen!

Noah Vaughn3 said:Listen here, you absolute moron, you're just plain rude and completely brainless... honestly, I barely even saw my own mother during the war, and things aren't exactly getting any better now, so don't even start with me. And just so you know, I'm actually studying medicine specifically so I can one day help a slow-witted woman/girl/whatever the hell you are, but you're so incredibly obnoxious and full of yourself that you probably think you're the center of the universe... I seriously can't wrap my head around people like you, and clearly you can't understand me, nimblestag31, or Genghis Khan either.
here’s a little more class for you all (lKimberly Nguyen you're the only sane one here, thanks for not being a total jerk to everyone...) so why don't you all just go back to where you came from? I'm definitely done posting in this thread because some people here are just too insecure to face reality, not me.

Come on, honey, maybe try picking up a book or two to fix that tragic way you talk...😉

Noah Vaughn3 said:Listen, you absolute moron. You’re being incredibly rude and, frankly, just plain dense. I didn't even get to see my own mother during the war, and things haven't exactly improved since then, either. I'm actually studying medicine specifically so that one day I might be able to help someone as dim-witted as you—whatever it is you claim to be. You possess this level of arrogance and insolence that suggests you genuinely believe you're the center of the universe. It's exhausting. I honestly can't wrap my head around people like you, and clearly, you have no idea what to make of me, nimblestag31, or Genghis Khan.
Here goes some more culture for you all.I suppose I should address this. It’s all rather trivial, really, though I find myself compelled to comment on the general state of things. One can't help but notice how certain patterns repeat themselves, much like those predictable plot twists you see in a Hallmark movie—if one were inclined toward such sentimentalities. Anyway, where was I? Right. It seems we are circling the same drain again. It reminds me of a rainy Tuesday back in Seattle when I spent three hours trying to fix a faulty toaster only to realize I hadn't even plugged it in. A similar lack of fundamental awareness seems to be pervading the current discourse. One would think, given the circumstances, that we might aim for a modicum of logic, but alas, expectations are often misplaced. Still, I shall remain here, observing the chaos with my usual detached interest. I have nothing but respect for you; you were actually being reasonable and didn't feel the need to resort to insults... As for the rest of you, you can all just go straight to hell. Honestly, I’m done. I won't be posting anything else on this thread because some people here simply lack the backbone to stand by their word. Not me, though.

It’s funny how she and Genghis Khan both seem to have such short fuses. They both reach for that "voice of the people" card far too easily. I’ve been serving in the military for over fifteen years now, and in all that time, I’ve never once heard anyone in my profession lose their cool quite like that—just blowing up and trying to lecture everyone else regardless of what's actually happening on the ground.

Noah Vaughn3 said:Kimberly Nguyen, look, I hear what you're saying, but it also "turns out" that if you're a doctor, you're expected to be poised, refined, and heaven forbid, you can't swear... but we aren't robots, we're people just like everyone else, and yeah, we curse and we act unrefined sometimes
And here's another thing to consider—when I wrote that one thing... well, they were my words as a future physician. What, am I not allowed to feel frustrated? Am I not allowed to be angry? Am I just supposed to bottle everything up inside me?
I'd be ready for an asylum at this rate. We need to blow off steam somewhere, and often it's the patients who push you to that edge, starting arguments until you just snap... because you're human... and this is my chance to finally let it all out, to throw it right back in his face, whether he deserves it or not
It's a shame, but it happens

I honestly think you're overreacting now.
When you work with people, YOU HAVE TO be both polite and composed... and yes, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO swear at people or scream at them... that should be considered standard behavior and part of your basic professionalism.
Plenty of major corporations hire "mystery shoppers" to observe how their employees interact with clients. Personally, I think that’s perfectly fair because it’s the only way an employer gets a realistic view of how their staff actually behaves on the job.
When you deal with the public (regardless of your profession), nobody gives you a pass to act however you please; you have to follow a code of conduct and maintain decency.
Of course, there are certain people you'd love to just 🙂 but once you're done dealing with them, go into a breakroom or something and vent, scream, swear away... just don't do it right in front of them or toward them.

In front of a patient, there is no place to lose your cool (no matter how much they get under your skin), to swear, or whatever else. After your shift, go meet up with your friends to vent, or hit a boxing gym and take it out on the heavy bag.

By your logic, the lady at the local Target who has the nerve to insult your entire lineage because you tried on five pairs of jeans and didn't buy anything (since she's "frustrated") would be totally justified... I mean, >

It honestly doesn't make sense to drag Genghis Khan and his work through the mud if you don't actually know anything about it—especially since he didn't really say anything wrong to begin with...
Of course there's a fuse, and it’s probably a pretty long one considering how much he's put up with in this exhausting, not-so-smart debate... plus, I guess Noah Vaughn3 might be throwing out a little provocation too, if you haven't noticed 😁
I'm not sure what kind of fuse you think someone needs to start attacking veterans and everyone who served, just because a few individuals stand out from the crowd of people who truly sacrificed everything. It's a heavy topic, but I suppose it would be like disrespecting your own profession, too...
Hmm, though I guess ER doctors can't exactly spend all day sipping coffee when they're dealing with daily tragedies—you know, things like burns, broken bones, or people who are just... well, dying. Life happens, even in the medical field...

@feralorca2
Are you seriously thirteen, or is there something more serious going on? Your level of maturity is... well, it's certainly something

Oh yeah, by the way—sending my best to everyone too! 👋

p.s. maybe we’ll all run into each other at some doctor's office in a year or two 😉
and I promise I'll try my best to be nice—though if I end up being a bit unhelpful to someone, believe me, I'm already feeling bad about it...

Most doctors out there are just uneducated hillbillies who couldn't even explain their own specialty if their lives depended on it. They’re such pathetic losers that they actually get offended when you—an apparently "ignorant peasant," despite maybe having a PhD they wouldn't recognize—actually turn out to be right. Just small-minded, miserable souls. Shoutout to the rare exceptions, though.
