How do I upload images and videos to the forum?

No matter what image I try to toss into my post, I keep getting hit with that "Remote file is too large" error message, which is honestly such a bummer.

Even when I just try to grab an image that's already sitting right there in the thread, it still gives me that same "remote file is too large" error, and that's not even counting the fact that this whole thread is absolutely packed with all kinds of different sized pictures.

You're supposed to put the picture in the unknown, but there's this stupid 10 kb limit here.

Look, forums are useless when it comes to handling attachments. Just use Imgur, Postimages, or Imgur and call it a day.

I'm not quite following what you're asking. 🙄

Just sign up at www.photobucket.com. It takes less than a minute. You'll get access to an album where you can store images for future use. Just upload the photo, copy the code under the IMG tag, paste it into your post, and you're done.

you have to put (image) at the end of the link

Got a quick question for the group!! I figured out how to drop an image into a post, but I'm trying to figure out how to mess with the dimensions... feels like they always come out looking way too big or tiny. Is there a trick to resizing them? Like if I was using something like Imgur or something? If anyone knows the secret, hit me up! Thanks!! 🙂

You’ll have to resize it yourself on your computer before uploading it again... There are plenty of free programs out there for that.

Hey, thanks for reaching out! 🙂 Hmm... 🙄 but you know what?? This image looks huge and perfectly clear on my computer and in my local files... but once I try to upload it here through these "services," it just shrinks down to nothing. I used to work with things over at ImageShack back in the day, so I could just manually type in the dimensions myself... but this forum just won't accept the image at all?? Technology can be such a pain in the neck sometimes... 😁 Anyway, thanks again! If you guys figure anything out, please let me know! I'm gonna go poke around and see if I can tinker with it myself...!
