You’re going to need to resize it through some kind of online tool—there are plenty of sites out there that handle that. Honestly, you'll have a much easier time just doing this kind of thing on a computer rather than messing around on a phone.

It’s pretty much the same deal as any other avatar you’d upload—just make sure you double-check the pixel dimensions and the file size in KB so it doesn't glitch out.

Doesn't matter 😕 I already shrunk the image and everything, but it still won't work.

Did you get it small enough? It's sitting at 75x75 px and about 29.3 kB now.

How do I actually set an Animated GIF as my avatar? Every time I download one and try to resize it, the damn thing just turns into a static image like nothing happened 🤷

You can't just shrink an Animated GIF as easily as you would a standard image—it’s a headache. Honestly, your best bet is just to hunt for a GIF that’s already within the size limits.

The real issue here? There just aren't enough tiny GIFs out there! 🙄

Well, there’s this really handy little program—it's completely portable, too,
meaning you don't even have to go through the whole installation process; you just run it,
it’s called Animated GIF producer, so just give that a search online.

Can anyone give me a hand here? I’m trying to get into my computer to grab some photos so I can upload them to Facebook—otherwise, this damn thing is just gonna keep acting up. It's kind of urgent—can someone please walk me through this!!!

Every time I try to upload an image via Reddit, it comes out absolutely massive—honestly, looking more like one of those giant posts from cosmicseal98—when all I really want is something more reasonable, maybe like the size of Peter King4's images in the earlier posts. I’ve been digging through the Reddit settings trying to find a way to scale them down, but I haven't had any luck. Does anyone know a workaround for resizing things easily on my phone, or a simple way to just get a properly sized image onto the forum using the app? 🙂
