I don't want to donate blood

Honestly, I regret ever donating blood while I was serving in the military. Those idiots didn't even provide a snack afterward. If I had my way, I’d go back and take that bag right back. It’s easy to act all selfless when you’re sitting at home, but back then—when I was stuck on base and couldn't just step out to grab a burger or anything—I was left hanging.

I am never donating again. So far, I've personally turned down at least ten different requests. Consider that my petty little revenge. And let me preemptively shut down those mindless comments: "What if *you* need it?" or "What if someone else needs it?" If they can't even manage to feed me, then they can deal with the consequences. If I end up needing it, I'll just suffer. Screw them.

If I could, I’d take that bag of my own blood right back. I can't believe how callous they were. Besides, if I had been at home, I could have just grabbed a snack, but being stuck on base meant I couldn't exactly step out to buy something to eat after they drained me.

I am never donating again. In fact, I've already shut down 7 or 8 people who asked. That's my little way of getting even. And before anyone tries to hit me with that tired old line, "But what if you need it one day?", let me be clear: I don't care. We all end up in the ground eventually.

I’m officially done donating blood. My new mission? Making sure everyone I know stays far away from those donation centers.
It’s all because of that lunch they refused to cover through my health insurance—absolute disgrace. Karma works, and believe me, it’s coming for them.

As of right now, I’ve probably personally blocked about 30 potential donations just by talking people out of it.

Nobody asked me a single question. I showed up to donate blood in good faith, but how was I supposed to know I wouldn't even get a glass of water afterward? It’s not like we were in a war zone, as far as I knew.

As for the people I turned away—don't worry about them, I'm just getting started.👍
I hold a high-level position at a massive corporation. I make decisions that dictate what people will be doing for the next ten years—decisions that impact the livelihoods of entire families. Turning down calls for organized blood drives? That's a minor detail to me. 😉
They were acting immorally when they asked, and frankly, I don't care who's at fault.

I'm bitter at the losers who couldn't staff enough people to feed me after I donated blood. It's the "doctors"—not the military—that are to blame here. They were supposed to look out for my health because they needed me, not the other way around.

It's a different story when I go to donate now; I can just head out and buy whatever I want. Plus, I'm only eating once a day.

then the military should have been the ones handling the food situation
that's how it works at every base out there
and if that didn't happen for you
then that's on the commanding officer
and he's the one who should be held accountable for that mess
