There are days when I wake up feeling like nothing on this earth could actually shake me awake. Not a splash of cold water, not a cup of coffee, nothing seems to touch it. Though, I guess once I get dressed and step outside for some fresh air, things start looking up a bit. Assuming I haven't already pulled a total all-nighter, which pretty much ruins everything anyway. 😬 But under more normal circumstances, maybe a little oxygen helps.

Or if someone just bursts into my room and douses me with a glass of ice water. Even then... I’ve definitely had moments where I’d just roll over and go right back to sleep... 😬

Maybe just try hitting the sack earlier tonight😉>

No, no... I was just speaking broadly about those little things in life you find yourself counting down the days for...

👍
But honestly, any kind of workout helps wake you up since it gets the blood pumping.😍

True, but Khatu pranayama is the gold standard, girl—don't let us look bad out there.😬

ONTOPIC: Let’s not forget that if you aren't getting enough sleep, all the working out in the world won't save you in the long run.
Same goes for eating high-quality food in moderation.

What I am attempting to convey—though perhaps I am being unclear—is that vitamin C does not actually act as a stimulant. 😁

Haha, oh it definitely works. Honestly? I think it hits harder than my morning coffee...
just don't go overboard though. Stick to about 60mg a day... 😬

You also have to watch what you eat and keep it high quality.

True, but if someone isn't feeling the whole Khatu pranam thing, they can just pick up any other light exercise. 😉
I'm with you on the sleep part.👍
But it’s not just about getting enough hours; you really need to hit that window when your body naturally craves it—roughly between midnight and 4 AM. That’s the sweet spot where your body actually recovers best.
At least, that's how I was taught.
Ideally, you'd be hitting the hay by 11 PM... then waking up wouldn't feel like such a chore.
🤔Thinking back, that's exactly how I did it during my school years. I could roll out of bed at 5 AM feeling totally energized and ready to go.
Nowadays... it doesn't work quite like that anymore.🙄

I usually start my day by tossing an entire lemon into a glass of water and just... well, I let it all out! It’s quite refreshing, really. As for coffee? Absolutely not—I don't touch the stuff. Honestly, caffeine makes me feel borderline psychotic; it triggers this restless urge to fidget at the absolute worst possible moments. Instead, I stay incredibly hydrated—lots of herbal teas and freshly squeezed juices. No fancy coffee shop concoctions for me! I prefer getting my Vitamin C through whole foods, though if I'm running behind schedule and can't squeeze something fresh, I'll occasionally grab an Isostar or maybe a Gatorade. But here is the thing: if I only manage to scrape together four or five hours of sleep, no amount of energy boosters in the world can save me from total exhaustion or a breakout of cold sores.

Like the title says, I wake up every single morning feeling absolutely wrecked—like someone ran a steamroller over me all night. Though, if they actually had, my spine might be a little straighter than it is now... Every time I move after waking up, my joints make that clicking sound—you know the one. I feel trashed, even if I didn't hit the gym the day before. There’s also this constant "heaviness" in my head, mostly concentrated at the base of my skull. That’s the part that really worries me; I don't want to spend my mid-twenties feeling perpetually exhausted and basically walking around like a zombie.

I'm not sure if there's a connection, but I also have PCOS. I stopped treating it with birth control pills because the nausea was unbearable, and now I'm dealing with GI issues too (got an appointment coming up soon, likely looking at a gastroscopy).

Honestly, it's getting depressing. Not long ago, I was a healthy young woman—active, athletic, no acne, no excess hair, and without these massive emotional highs and lows.

If anyone has any advice, please share.

Honestly, you might need a memory foam mattress.
But look, just go get checked out by a doctor first. Your symptoms are... I don't know how else to put it, they're just kind of "typical."

haha, nice one...

Anyway, I actually picked up a new mattress two weeks ago—Tempur-Pedic style, but a domestic brand. As for that comment about my symptoms being "typical"—I'd love to know how you'd feel if you woke up every single morning feeling completely wrecked and exhausted, with zero energy to do anything, especially when you're only 25 and this isn't exactly how you usually live... just drained.

Maybe you're just low on vitamins, or something else entirely...🙂 I'm really not joking here—I went through the exact same thing once; I was anemic, so my doctor put me on iron supplements and some other vitamins...

It could also be stress—maybe you just need to take a break, head out for a weekend trip somewhere, and just... recharge.😍

What would you say are the typical symptoms for Endimion17?

My mom just had what seemed like a standard sore throat—until her tonsil actually ruptured...
They were terrified it might be throat cancer...😠 🙂

From what I've gathered, I don't really believe in "minor" symptoms—I mean, every single symptom is essentially a signal from the body that something isn't quite right—it’s just that sometimes, identifying the actual cause is the hard part...

Currently sipping some iced coffee, but I definitely need to step up my fruit intake. I eat plenty of veggies, but fruit isn't really my thing (thankfully, fruit season is almost here with stuff I actually like and am not allergic to—can't wait)

As for recharging, once this exam is over on Monday, I'm heading to the coast for 5 or 6 days. Just counting down the days. 😍

Thanks for the advice, goldenbadger47 😘

This sounds like depression to me, or perhaps you're just feeling low because of everything else going on. I get that PCOS is a real issue, but it’s manageable with the right medication. If the pills you've been taking aren't cutting it, go talk to your gynecologist and find a regimen that actually works for you.
If your neck is acting up, your pillow might be the culprit, though some people say neck pain can also stem from stress. It could also be your thyroid causing that constant fatigue. You really should get some blood work done—check your iron levels, thyroid hormones, and so on. Sit down with your doctor and run those tests. It’s probably nothing serious. Good luck.

Yeah, well—that’s exactly my issue. I was hoping someone might be able to connect the dots on everything I mentioned, since nothing seems to fit a standard profile. It isn't just acne or excess hair—it's more that my body is clearly sending an SOS, and I can't pinpoint why. My last blood panel came back completely normal.

If anyone has leads on alternative treatments or recommendations, let me know. I'm willing to try just about anything at this point...

I was on birth control for a few years and eventually just quit—my mood was all over the place, swinging between being insanely happy and totally miserable. I think I need to get my thyroid checked out; my gut is telling me that's where the issue lies. Thanks.

Oh man, I'm so jealous... I won't even be hitting the beach this year. My boyfriend and I are busy fixing up our apartment, so there's just no budget left for a vacation...

I'll be crossing my fingers for your exam...👍 👍 mine is this Thursday.😲 😲
