Man, Guinea is absolutely tearing it up right now (they just crushed Tunis 3-0), and it’s not just about Kamara—I mean, they've got a massive amount of talent like Bangura, maybe even more than 🙂

You make a fair point; maybe they should just charge ahead and let a few players like Bangura 🙂 take the initiative. But honestly, these guys play soccer in a way that’s almost hard to believe. One side, Tunis, who managed to qualify for the World Cup 2006 and is basically a regular at the World Cup, got absolutely dismantled—it was like watching a toddler crush a rattle. What I find most ridiculous, though, is that I don't actually recognize anyone on that national team; I suppose even I couldn't tell you who might actually score a goal or have a decent moment on the pitch. They are a total mystery to me. The "ideal" version of this final would probably have been Cameroon-Guinea ending in a 2-2 draw, followed by Guinea winning it on penalties.
By the way, it looks like Bofana-bofan has officially taken over the title of the worst footballing nation in Africa. Even Zambia managed to beat them, and they've now racked up three easy losses without scoring a single goal (even with Portov McCarthi playing). At this rate, they might find themselves relegated to some regional African league alongside Sierra Leone, Cad, Djibouti, and Rwanda 😬.
Morocco is in a similar boat, though I guess they at least managed to scrape together a couple of points, much like Libya 😳.

They’ve got massive mineral wealth, yet they deal with an incredibly low number of coups compared to most other African countries. I guess that's just how it goes. 😬

Today we have Nigeria facing off against Senegal, followed by Ghana taking on Zimbabwe. While the latter matchup feels like a pretty safe bet for a win, the first one looks like it could be anything at all. Senegal absolutely needs this victory, whereas Nigeria is already sitting on two wins, so things might get a bit unpredictable; you can catch the coverage on ESPN at 6:00 PM. As for the second game, it might end in a draw, though I suppose it's hard to say if we'll see more or fewer than three goals total.😕

Guinea 2-3 Senegal, man😠

Egypt 4-1 Dr. Congo—it’s pretty obvious Lua and Jecki just couldn't pull it together to secure those bonuses...

And just like that, Cameroon goes down the drain after I wasted my entire afternoon watching them. (And now I’ve gotta keep an eye on Valencia and Deportivo too)

To top off this disaster, that absolute clown Raymond Hughes had to miss the final penalty.

Eto'o is basically channeling his inner Southgate 😬 Ngh!

Man
maybe Nigeria can pull them together somehow

Cameroon missed out on qualifying for the World Cup because of a botched penalty; they were actually clinical today, except for that one re-taken shot—basically an Eto'o sequel...

But I’m honestly thrilled to see the Ivory Coast move forward. They're going to absolutely dismantle Nigeria, and then face Egypt in the finals...

The Ivory Coast match was just brutal—all those low kicks to the legs... man, Cameroon really brought out the heavy hitters in the first half, just absolutely hammered him... I guess Aruna Kone is the only one playing with any actual talent, but who knows if he’ll actually pull through playing for PSV
