Does anyone know of any plant-based remedies that could help stop me from waking up way too early?

Basically, I’ve been under so much intense stress lately that I keep snapping awake at 2 AM and

just staring at the ceiling until the sun comes up. Chamomile tea and warm milk aren't doing squat. I'm also three months pregnant. I really want to avoid anything pharmaceutical—honestly, even an aspirin used to knock me out, but now even that does nothing. And my doctor told me to stay far away from Valerie.

Anyone got any ideas? I can barely function at work, and honestly, I'm terrified I'm going to trip on the sidewalk or pass out behind the wheel while driving.

I find myself waking up after about six hours of sleep too. I’m pretty sure I can blame my stiff back for that one. I guess I really need to focus more on stretching out and maybe try sleeping in a slightly better position.

I actually chatted with my OBGYN the other day, and she mentioned that once you hit the 12-week mark, taking a small dose of something is generally fine if needed. She just doesn't recommend it before then since that's when the baby is developing most intensely.

I’m only getting an hour or two of sleep a night; I wake up at 2 AM every single morning and just wait for dawn. And don't even get me started on Daylight Savings—that messes me up big time. At 8 weeks, theoretically, I shouldn't take anything, though my doctor did try to comfort me by saying she had patients on much heavier meds who still had perfectly healthy babies.

Whatever you do, don't go reading those Rodin forums; they'll scare the life out of you.

Maybe this, but check with your doctor if you want to be safe. Or try Melatonin spray.
