nimblemarlin17 said:Look, I’ve been saying this lately. If you haven't been paying attention, let me break it down for you. Right now, there isn't any single powerhouse standing out in all of Europe.

Why is "skill level" the only thing anyone cares about? Why is it that only the teams who can juggle a ball perfectly are considered "GREAT"? They’re the ones everyone watches, they are 👍

Then these guys run into a squad like Greece and get absolutely smoked, and suddenly nimblemarlin17 shows up on the forum with a whole mob of his "🙄 🙄 🙄 " just to lecture us about how Greece is actually garbage and how the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, or Brazil should be considered the "moral winners." 🙄

At the end of the day, the scoreboard is the only thing that matters. If you want to watch fancy footwork and cinematic magic, go rent Shaolin Soccer.

And as for the USA, honestly, only a total amateur wouldn't see that these guys have made massive strides and pulled off some seriously impressive results during the qualifiers.

One point with a goal difference of -23 is supposed to be good? Give me a break. What kind of logic are we even using here? I must have been in a deep winter hibernation when they decided to overhaul the scoring system. Don't worry, though—Greece won't be giving anyone trouble anymore, and neither will the New York Yankees. They had their five minutes of glory, but it’s over because they simply lack the substance. It's like someone claiming Tim Montgomery is better than Mo Greene just because he broke a record. Montgomery only had that one 9.78 and then nothing else worth mentioning, while Greene was consistently hitting 9.79, 9.80, 9.81, 9.83, and so on. Real quality stands the test of time.

Look, don't sweat it—Greece isn't going to give anyone trouble anymore, and neither is the New York Yankees. It's like someone claiming Tim Montgomery is better than Mo Greene just because he broke a record once. Montgomery hit that 9.78 and then nothing but a pile of mediocre stats, while Greene was consistently clocking 9.79, 9.80, 9.81, 9.83, and so on. Real talent shows up in the consistency. Quality is quality.

Rafa Benitez is the real deal, and you're just a bandwagoner. 😛 😛 😛 😉

Mark my words, Rafa Benitez is going to get absolutely roasted by the end of the season.

Unbelievable—if they managed to endure that Frenchman for that long, they’ll certainly be able to handle Benitez.

England.
America.
Ukraine.
Canada
Iceland
Cyprus
San Marino

Maybe if we sweep aside England and Canada, we can finally get the Ukrainians to the tournament too. I guess. 👍

Me? I wouldn't mind facing the French. Back in Portugal, we almost had them with Zivkovic, Ross, Bjelica, and the Sailor... 😲

Hard agree. France is a total walk in the park. Honestly, I'd rather face France in our group than deal with the Netherlands. ☕

And honestly, screw you—you didn't even act surprised at how much work I put into digging up this image. It wasn't easy. 😁

I'm with you there—it looks like Vaart is back in peak form, and frankly, I don't see us keeping up with him...
God help us if we end up facing the Netherlands...

Look, guys, we didn't have any trouble handling Brazil, so I guess some random matchup against the Netherlands shouldn't be an issue either. Honestly. 😁

The Netherlands is definitely a tough draw, obviously, but then again, who in this group isn't? Maybe those unlucky Greeks, though you have to hand it to them for what they pulled off last year—but I doubt they can pull that off again for at least another 20 years. Van der Vaart is back in form, but then again, he's more or less always in form, and neither has Ljungberg really threatened our goal lately... It's true, the Dutch have refreshed the squad quite a bit, and they look strong. How strong they actually are? I guess we'll find out next summer.

Anyway, let's just focus on getting through the World Cup first.

Faroe Islands, Chumezhe?

Just look at the index. Just copy and paste it—no point wasting more time typing out the whole table, right? 😁
