Has anyone else dealt with something similar?
My skin can be a bit finicky... nothing major, but I just can't seem to get rid of those painful red breakouts on my backside.

Do you think those firming creams would actually help?

To be honest, my skin is a bit finicky. It isn't anything catastrophic, but I just can't seem to shake these painful, red breakouts on my backside.

Would those firming creams actually do anything?

Are you male or female?
(For guys, ingrown hairs are often the culprit behind those kinds of breakouts down there).
Also, consider whether you might be wearing synthetic fabrics or underwear that's a bit too tight.
There are a million different variables at play here...

I honestly have no clue where you got the idea that tightening creams would do anything here, but fine...

First step: get rid of dead skin cells. You need an exfoliant. And don't even think about using those natural loofahs or scrubbers; they’re basically petri dishes for bacteria. Buy a synthetic glove, a soft brush, or just grab some cornmeal, mix it with a bit of yogurt, and scrub. After that, shower and apply a clindamycin solution. Make sure you dry off completely before heading to bed and applying Bevacizumab powder.

I've always had somewhat finicky skinβ€”nothing extreme, reallyβ€”but I just can't seem to shake these painful, red breakouts on my backside.

Honestly, you probably need to focus on detoxing your system, eating right, getting some exercise... basically just committing to a healthy lifestyle.
