So, apparently nobody knows the first thing about actually decent shoe insoles... 😢

Eh, whatever—I guess I'll just have to figure it out myself somehow...

Cycling is solid, light walking helps, and hitting the gym is definitely a good idea—just don't go overboard. You shouldn't be pushing heavy weights if your knee isn't feeling 100%, and you want exercises that engage the whole leg at once. For example, a leg press is fine, but stay far away from leg extensions. Those isolate the quads too much and put way too much direct stress on the knee joint itself.

It’s been over a year since my surgery, and even with a steady workout routine, things still feel... off. It isn't exactly pain, per se, just a strange sensation that I can't quite shake. 😢

Hey everyone. So, I've got
an issue with my left
knee. I've been playing
soccer for 8 years now. My knee
hurts after running or long
walks. After exercising, I can't
bend it; it feels like
it's locked up. I'm thinking
it might be a meniscus issue. When I'm home, nothing
hurts and everything feels
fine. This has been going on for about 2
months. Haven't gone for any
tests yet. Any idea what
this could be? Thanks.
Edit: Just to note, there's no
swelling.

So, why are you even waiting? You should probably just head to the doctor already. I mean, honestly, without an MRI, I don't think you or your physician are going to get any real answers. Once you get that sorted, you can deal with whatever else needs doing. Recovery periods tend to be pretty long, so maybe prepare yourself for that and just hope for the best. My knees used to act up too, though I'm not exactly an athlete or anything, and then I'd go play some casual pickup soccer, make one wrong move, and—boom—torn ligament. Anyway, I'm currently exactly three weeks out from my own surgery.☕

Same here—you seriously need to send me some pics!

Honestly? It’s probably just arthritis—99% chance of that!
