So I finally watched Shrek 2 on DVD yesterday (finally, I'm seriously not lagging behind anymore 😵 ) and it totally blew me away. Honestly, it's better than Ice Age, maybe even better than the first Shrek.

Has anyone seen Who Framed Little Red Riding Hood? Or Over the Hedge? Both seem 🙏

I caught a screening today—and honestly, the film is quite solid 👍
. The most pathetic part was that sequence with the Fire King, where everyone just blindly follows his lead 🤣

But nothing quite hits like the goat scene from Little Red Riding Hood—though I'm really not sure if we'll see anything even remotely that good again anytime soon. 🙏

Ice Age is great—honestly—but unfortunately, we didn't even get to see the end of it. The crowd at AMC Theatres was being so incredibly loud that my kid spent half the movie covering her ears. It was just... awful. Both for her and for us. She couldn't take it anymore, so we ended up walking out halfway through. And the worst part? There wasn't anyone to even complain to.
I really don't get it—why aren't those morning kids' screenings actually adjusted for children? If they aren't, then who are they even for?

It might not be a total game-changer—I'll be the first to admit that—but, hey, what have you got to lose? Just try sending them an email. Draft up something meaningful; maybe by some stroke of luck, someone with half a brain on the other end will actually listen and take it to heart.

Man, that movie was incredible! I absolutely love Diego😍. Plus, Sid and the squirrel are such great characters!!
It was a little too heavy for my taste, though—I actually teared up at the end when Sid "saves" the squirrel. Poor little thing!!🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 Honestly, I feel a bit emotional just thinking about it again!!🙂 🙂

The funniest part has to be that whole bit with paradise and the squirrel. That massive, oversized acorn. And then, just when she’s about to grab it—*zip*—she’s right back on Earth. Lazybones basically brings her back to life just to mess with her. It's enough to drive you crazy... 🤣

That squirrel is absolutely unhinged 🙏 my girlfriend and I were practically in tears when he finally started getting his act together, only for him to fumble the acorn again 🤣

Honestly though, the first one was way better. I have no idea where they were even heading the whole time. Nothing really got resolved, they didn't actually arrive anywhere; we were just sort of tagging along for the ride, watching them struggle.

Plus, the jokes in the original movie hit much harder.

All in all, it’s a decent enough flick 🙂

I’ve always been a bit of a purist—the original voices just hit differently for me
But today, by some total stroke of luck, I ended up at the movie theater with a friend (we actually had the whole hall 😲 😳 to ourselves!) and we watched "our" version.

Honestly, folks, it was absolutely brilliant😁 —in my opinion, even better than the original—mostly because of all those localized jokes and specific cultural nods in the translation. It's just different. Having Eminem voicing Sid? That's legendary.🙏
Tariq is Diego, Taylor Swift is the mammoth, and Ljubomir Kerekes is Manny.

And whenever Edo starts singing one of those Gibbons songs...🤣
plus there were two other tracks—I can't recall them off the top of my head—but man, they sounded incredible.

Rock on, man 🤣

A little bit of this, a little bit of that, just living life 🤣

The core four, bottom left, pure gold 🤣

I'm struggling to remember everything right now, and there were so many other great moments.

There's even some Southern slang sprinkled in there too.🤣

I am genuinely counting down the days until this hits the DVD shelves.

Honestly, this movie is absolute perfection. I’m genuinely stuck in this loop where I can't decide if the original was better or if the sequel actually topped it. It's a toss-up.
