So... which creams were we talking about?

I can't quite recall—that was about five years ago (prescribed by a specialist)—but I don't think you're dealing with anything major. If it’s actually bothering you though, just go see a dermatologist. They'll hook you up with the right treatment.

Man, I had those pigment-eating fungi. Kicked them right out with some New York City.

So, for the last two months, I’ve been dealing with this crazy fungal thing on my tongue. I had this exact same issue back when I was a kid, and if I remember right, I used to just dab some propolis on it. Man, the taste was absolutely revolting, but honestly? It actually worked a little bit.

But now, it’s flared right back up, and my tongue feels totally wrecked—it’s like it starts hitting the edges first and then just spreads straight toward the middle.😢
I mean, I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of fungus...

Has anyone else gone through this nightmare? What did you guys use to get rid of it? I am seriously losing my mind here... Just when I think it’s finally gone, it hits me all over again.👎

Maybe try rinsing your mouth out with an antiseptic mouthwash. I think I have some Listerine at home somewhere if I remember correctly.

But honestly, it’s probably better to just go see a doctor.

Did you deal with this exact same thing?

My mom keeps breathing down my neck about how this is some huge sign of an underlying illness.😕 Honestly, I’m terrified of doctors—every time I go in with an actual issue, they just brush me off like it’s nothing. It's so frustrating.
That’s why I figured I’d try looking for advice here on the forum first.

Yeah, I’ve read somewhere that you can actually spot certain illnesses just by looking at your tongue, though I’m not entirely sure how much truth there is to that. I haven't personally dealt with anything like it, but I do know that after I had a tooth pulled, I had to rinse my mouth out with that antiseptic liquid to keep everything clean.
And honestly, if I were you, I'd go find a new doctor. You really shouldn't just sit around waiting for something like this to clear up on its own.

Maybe I'm totally losing my mind here, but now that we're talking about teeth, I've gotta say—I swear those fungal issues started right around the time I picked up a brand new toothbrush.🤔

I know, I know, maybe it’s a bit much to blame a toothbrush for this kind of thing, but honestly? I’m gonna toss it out and see if things start looking better.

Morgan Torres thanks for the reply!😉

Jane Doe gets it sorted in two days flat, and honestly, it tastes just like bananas.👍

For a while now, the skin in the creases between my toes has been getting all thick and calloused. Sometimes it itches like crazy, and other times it just turns bright red. Does anyone actually know what's going on here? Or better yet, can someone please help me get rid of this thing!?

Your primary care doctor might be able to help 🙂

Looks like a pretty standard fungal infection, Michelle Bailey30.

Go see your GP or a dermatologist; they'll prescribe an ointment so it doesn't spread or get any worse.

And always make sure you dry your skin thoroughly with a towel after washing.

Look, I’ve already been in to see a doctor and they put me on some Neosporin cream, but honestly? It isn't doing a damn thing for me.

Hey everyone!
So, here's the deal... I've been having some major digestive issues lately. My stools are super sticky and slimy, my stomach is cramping up constantly, I get bloated all the time, and—get this—I'm actually losing weight.

Obviously, I went to see my doctor, and he sent me off for a stool sample test.
Out of the four different things they tested for, they flagged both amoebas and yeast (Candida).

Now, my primary care physician was totally stumped. He had no clue what to do next. The specialist who ran the tests (I used a private lab for this one) suggested Jane Doe for the amoebas, but my regular doctor thinks that might just make the yeast situation worse. So, he ended up referring me to an infectious disease specialist to get a real recommendation.

Based on the results, the specialist prescribed Jane Doe (for the amoebas), Fluconazole (for the yeast), and Doxycycline for... well, I don't even know, maybe it's also for the amoebas to help clear things up? :S

When I got to the pharmacy and saw all this stuff, I was just staring at it like, "Man, how much medicine am I supposed to be swallowing?!"
I actually called the specialist back to ask about it, and she wasn't even sure why I needed the Doxycycline. She actually told me I shouldn't even take it right now!

Has anyone else ever dealt with this kind of mess? Can anyone give me some advice? It's honestly so hard to navigate all these random pills, especially when the doctors seem to be tripping over each other and can't agree on anything. :S

Alright guys, I’ve got a situation here. So, I recently came down with some kind of fungal infection on my junk. Look, I’m sexually active, but I always use protection, so I don't get why this is happening. Honestly, I'm feeling pretty embarrassed about actually walking into a doctor's office for this, so can anyone just recommend a solid cream I can pick up at the drugstore? There isn't any pain or stinging or anything, it's just... there. Please, help me out! If there isn't an over-the-counter fix, then I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and see a physician. Thanks in advance!

You might want to pick up some Monistat cream.

Yeah, honestly, I'd suggest holding off on any intimacy until you're fully cleared. Even if you're using protection, the friction can just end up irritating the yeast infection even more. It’s probably best to get completely healed up first, and then you can go for it!

Thanks a ton, Joshua Anderson30! 🙂 So, does that cream actually follow a specific recipe or what?

No prescription needed, just grab about 50 bucks $23, if I remember right... though you'll have some left over for (God forbid) next time 😉

Just follow the instructions, and obviously, buy the cream if you're sure it's a fungal infection.

You could also try Neosporin.
I was honestly stunned by how fast that cream worked for me.🙏
