Looks like we’re getting an Argentina-Brazil rematch this Thursday around 5 PM.

Ze Roberto is the absolute businessβ€”the woodwork, those absolute screamers of goals, and that signature way he switches play... just wow!!!!

I’m a little lost here. Why is Brazil even playing in the qualifiers if they're the world champs and supposed to be defending their title? Doesn't that mean they're already locked in for the World Cup?

From what I recall, that used to be the ruleβ€”but if I'm staying current with the recent changes, it seems like only the host nation gets that automatic qualification for the Copa AmΓ©rica now.

I'm not watching, I don't even care...

My season doesn't actually start until the Super Cup in San Francisco, so until then, I'm strictly riding with Team USA.πŸ™‚

Thanks for the heads up, I guess.
Don't know about everyone else, but I feel better knowing that.

That Ronaldinho guy isn't half bad.

Who’s actually tuning in?

With a Brazil lineup like πŸ‘ , having Ronaldinho on the pitch will be something else.

Strangely enough, I find myself rooting for Paraguay here; they’ve been my favorite national team since the '98 World Cup.

LET'S GO PARAGUAY!! πŸ‘‹
The only frustrating part is that I can't help but love Brazil 😁. If this were Argentina vs. Paraguay, I’d be going absolutely wild for them.😁

I feel the same way about Paraguay; after the US and Brazil, they're my top choice, mostly because of '98 and one man, Carlos Alberto Gamarra.

I suspect the players have a choice, but they play the qualifiers just to build chemistry within the squad.

I guess I'd put America Scotland right after, then maybe USA Uruguay.

Uruguay would be my third pick haha 😁 , I just don't have any love for the other national teams out there.

He’s actually incredibleβ€”just imagine what he could do if he wasn't constantly fighting for touches against Ronaldinho and KakΓ‘... they spend the whole game hogging the ball, don't they?

It’s definitely happening. That guy Vela was talking nonsense yesterday, claiming they were actually biting on his feints, but this deal is a done deal. They secured him ten months ago; I just can't recall if they signed him as a straight starter or if he was already under contract but left to finish out the season elsewhere... Regardless, Raul is heading to Liverpool or wherever else because he’s squeezed out of the rotation. Personally, I’d rather see Owen get the nod, but the man hasn't found the back of the net ten times in the last two years. He's completely lost his edge in the k

Honestly, this Robinho guy feels more like a holding midfielder or maybe some kind of attacking mid to me. He’s definitely not your classic center forwardβ€”actually, I wouldn't call him a striker at all... at least based on what I saw after that match against Paraguay... I usually can't stand those players who don't have a clear role, like Raul, who was stuck somewhere between a striker and a playmaker without really being either, but I actually dig this kid's vibe (and not in *that* way)😁
