placidseal18 said:What’s "violent," huh? You think I'm being a little too aggressive? What, because I've got some Benjamin gear? Too "feminized" for you? Is that what this is aboutβ€”me talking shop about molecular structures?

Listen, you violent little thing... I'd give you the first three hours for free just to watch the look on your face when an entire new world opens up right in front of you... 😁

Look, I don't have a problem with Benjamin. Honestly, I actually dig it. 😁

But I definitely don't need a coach.

Man, there are so many aggressive freaks here jumping on the first ball. Honestly, you kind of need to be like that if you want to play tennis. Maybe we should go grab some Macho πŸ˜‰.

Just kidding😎

What are you even tripping about? Who was this even directed at?

And what the hell does "match" mean in this context?

Last but not least: whose clone are you exactly? πŸ˜‰

Oh, okay then... I seriously thought you were coming for me...

But you typed out "mach"

Anyway, you still got one more question left thereβ€”you can just hit me up in the DMs if you want...β˜•

Oh, you absolutely do. You could play on your own for months, but just a couple of hours with a pro and you'll feelβ€”well, let's say you'll *notice*... much faster progress.πŸ˜‰

Rachel Parker4, listen, I’m not here to compete with clones, I'm just here to make a living... 😁

lol, who said I don't already have a coach? πŸ˜‰

Rachel Parker4 said:I'm not talking nonsense!! Regarding tennis specificallyβ€”I've tried squash and Benjamin before, but tennis is what actually gives me the most satisfaction. I mean, what do you even know about this? Have you ever actually worked on your technique with a coach? If you do, it actually looks decent and becomes useful. After that, I was basically a whole different person.

Who knows what you're even training with him.

Honestly, those two things just go hand in hand. πŸ™‚

Honestly, this tennis thing is incredibleβ€”everyone keeps telling me how great I look playing it, so I’m basically a walking billboard for the sport.

Come on, post a photo so we can actually see you πŸ˜‰ ; personally, I don't buy into any of those wild claims unless there's visual proof. πŸ˜‰

Rachel Parker4 said:I’m not your typical gold digger; I’m more of a "neo-gold digger." It’s a whole new category. Basically, a neo-gold digger is completely self-sufficient and academically educated, but if a sponsor happens to fly in, she’ll be more than happy to accept.

I am not talking nonsense!! When it comes to sports, I’ve tried squash and Benjamin, but tennis gives me the most satisfaction. Besides, how would you even know what I'm talking about? Have you ever actually worked on your technique with a coach? If you do, it actually looks good and becomes useful. After that, I was like a reborn girl.

On top of everything else I’ve already pointed out, let me add that you’re a liar. An academically educated person knows at least the basics of American grammar, yet your sentences look like they were written by a first grader.
Just go back to your coach so you can get those "dummy balls" flying again. That seems to be more your speed. πŸ™‚

nimblescout:

Are you playing in an actual league or just hitting it around for fun?

------------------------------------------------------

I play recreationally over in Columbus (the courts are a bit smaller than regulation, so there’s less sprinting but you’ve gotta have lightning reflexes).
I’m part of this local clubβ€”membership is dirt cheap, plus there are plenty of solid players around, so it’s actually a blast to play.
Honestly, I wouldn't want to waste my time playing with a total newbie, unless it’s just to show off some squash moves or hang out with a buddy. 😎
We usually get court time on Tuesdays from 5 to 7 PM and Saturdays from noon to 4 PM.
I also occasionally swing by on Thursdays to hit with one of the guys from the club.

On Saturdays, we sometimes get more than two hours of pure playtime, though it’s never one continuous marathon like that session we had back in Chicago.
I was playing with someone from the club, but we drove out to Chicago to play (that 100-minute stretch we talked about)
In Chicago, they had two five-minute breaks, and man, you really feel it when the ball flies out of bounds (sometimes people do that on purpose 😳 )

By the time we finally sat down afterward, we were absolutely drenched in sweat. 😎

It was a total blast, though. πŸ‘‹

Kenneth Hernandez67, join the club. πŸ™‚

I’ve been playing tennis for years just because I love it. Woke up at 9 this morning for a session with my coach from 10 to 11. Totally wiped me outβ€”soaked through my clothes and I'm dead on my feet now. But honestly? Feels amazing. Just pure satisfaction. πŸ™‚

Heading off to grab some strawberries now. πŸ™‚

P.S. My hourly rate is about $27. That's $30 for the court in the mornings and $50 for George (my coach). Totally worth every penny.
