I ended up buying my ticket after the game had already started (dammit, I got stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic, but honestly, it turned out to be a huge money saver) and because of that, I scored an amazing seat for only 20 bucks. If I wanted to sit way up high and watch ants crawl on the field, it would've cost me a lot less...

Exactly. If you've got the patience and you're betting that tickets will still be available, you can save a serious amount of money.

I wouldn't even let you out of Washington, D.C., let alone permit a trip to Milan 😁

Give me a break.
It would actually be a blast to watch together.
Why don't you do the math on what the gas and tolls would cost per person for a trip to Milan?
Estimate consumption at about 7 liters per 62 miles

Exactly. If we just "gut" the cost now, it’ll end up being a cheap lesson for us.

Seriously though, it would be such a blast if we could all just hit the road together.
Just do the math—how much would it actually cost per person for gas and tolls to get down to Milan?
Base the fuel consumption on something like 7 liters per 62 miles
.

Heh, I don't even know where you're starting from.
If I'm coming from San Francisco, it’ll probably end up being way cheaper for me...😉

Don't overthink it.
The cost is just the distance between major hubs,
meaning from Washington, D.C. to Milan.

Well, you guys definitely blew up this thread😁

I remember last year when I was still living in the dorms near the Mississippi, there was an announcement for the Lakers vs Celtics game—but looks like nothing is happening this time around.

Anyway, catch ya later👋
