I messed with my email settings this past Saturday, and ever since then, everything has gone sideways. Even though I’m clearly logged in, I can't reply to any threads or even touch my own profile settings without getting hit with this error message:

'' You don't have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. You lack the necessary permissions for the page you're trying to reach. Are you attempting to edit someone else's post or access admin tools? Please review the forum rules to see if those actions are permitted for your user level.

2. If you were trying to post a comment, it's possible your account is still awaiting activation, or perhaps an administrator has suspended your access.

Honestly, I'm at a total loss here. I sent an email over to forum@monitor.com, but I haven't heard a single word back. My only real option seems to be starting from scratch with a new account, but I really don't feel like being stuck with rookie status all over again...

Good grief, it’s the same headache all over again—you have to log into that new email account you just set up to find the verification link they sent. If that still doesn't get you in, just shoot a DM to the admin!

Right now, none of the automated emails the forum usually sends out are actually going through!

Please, PLEASE don't try changing your email addresses until this gets sorted out!
If you change your address now, it basically resets your registration status to incomplete, and since the activation links aren't sending, you'll be stuck in limbo...

And please don't keep asking me when everything will be back to normal. I honestly have no clue, but the tech team is already on it and I'm hoping they can get it fixed pretty quickly. 😉

Rebecca Sanders2, I added a little something to the title just so people stop starting a dozen different threads. There are still plenty of folks running into this and asking about it everywhere... 😉

No worries at all, I just want this thing fixed ASAP. It’s been six days now and I haven't been able to do a single thing on the forum...

Jeremy Flores2 said:Man, it’s the same old story. You have to go check your newly registered email account, find the link they sent, and click it. If it still doesn't work after that, just send a private message to the admin!

Look, I haven't been away from the forum since yesterday, so I’m well aware of how the process works. The issue isn't me missing a step; the issue is that they aren't even sending out the emails in the first place...

Alright, just letting you know everything’s been squared away. 🙂
