Okay, I am seriously losing my mind here! Is it actually possible for someone to slide into my DMs when they aren't even on the member list? I’ve been scrolling through the directory trying to track this person down, searching high and low, and nothing! They just don't exist on the roster! 😕 😲

No way. Double-check your search terms—you might be missing a character or something. Also, why are you looking through the member list? You can just click them directly from the Democratic Party page if that’s what you need. 🤔

It’s entirely possible 😁

Provided that individual failed to confirm their registration by clicking the verification link sent to their email address during the sign-up process.

Aha, okay, so that makes sense now. I kept clicking on the profile link from the Democratic Party posts, but nothing was happening—it just wouldn't load a profile at all. So, I ended up hunting through the member list instead.

Thanks so much for clearing that up for me! 🙂

If they didn't confirm their registration by clicking the link sent to their email when they first signed up.

And they can just go around sending Democratic Party stuff? I thought they didn't have that kind of authority? 🤔 😕

How can they send anything if the account was never even activated? 😁

Maybe they sent a private message, but you were away from the site for, say, three months, and the user ended up deleting their handle and all their posts in the meantime. 😁

Maybe they sent a DM while you were MIA for, what, three months? And then the guy just nuked his account and deleted all his posts. Who knows.😁

Or maybe it was a "they"!😲

Even those without active accounts can send private messages.

An IMF official said:Even those who are inactive can still send PMs.

If inactive users can do all that, what’s actually the point of activating?

You can't become inactive, except right here.

Given all the other nonsense going on, maybe sticking to this subforum isn't such a bad idea.
