It feels like the older they get, the worse they play—so maybe the front office was sending a pretty clear message, like

I honestly don't see them letting him go for peanuts—and besides, who's actually going to foot the bill for that transfer fee plus those massive salary demands he's asking for?🤔

Personally, I don't think he's going anywhere—not really. At the end of the day, he's a club icon and a total fan favorite. Sure, his performance over the last two seasons has been... well, let's just say he's been lost in the shuffle of a mediocre squad. But even if he isn't scoring as much as he used to—and god knows he's missed more easy chances than anyone else lately—he still leaves his heart on the field, which is a far cry from how Ronaldo plays compared to our other big stars.
Mind you, once Roman starts opening up that massive checkbook, it's hard for anyone to stay neutral about what happens next.🙄

I actually think it’s a good thing that Ronaldo has put some weight back on. Last season, when he was a total prasa weighing in at around 220 pounds, he was scoring plenty of goals. He slimmed down at the start of this season and looked incredibly fit, but then suddenly, he couldn't find the back of the net to save his life. Now that he’s back up to that hundred-kilo mark, I really believe Real is going to be right back in the title race 🙂

Well, I caught wind of something regarding Adriana—pretty sure I saw it mentioned in one of the papers.
But honestly? It’s probably just journalists talking out of their hats.

Ronaldo might be lazy and out of shape, but he’s still miles ahead of Raul. It might shock some people, but Ronaldo is the second highest scorer in the league with 13 goals, trailing only Eto'. In the Champions League, he's already bagged 3 or 4, whereas Raul managed a measly 6 goals in 35 appearances.
If anyone needs to be cut from the roster, it's definitely Raul. I honestly don't get why Owen isn't getting playing time; he's scored twice as many despite having far fewer minutes. Once Robinho arrives at the end of the season, if they don't sell Raul, he'll certainly be sidelined for a year since they play the same position. Once the kid starts scoring, it's bye-bye Raul to the bench. I wouldn't be surprised if Chelsea or even Juve try to pick him up, with someone else likely jumping in too. The only way Raul stays relevant is if he suddenly starts scoring, which I highly doubt... comparing Raul to prasa just isn't possible.

As for Adriana, I’d honestly love to see them swap him for Ronaldo just to get that prasa playing for my favorite club again—and maybe finally get rid of those two Mexicans... though watching the Adriano - Ronaldo duo at Inter would be the dream. That said, even a Robinho - Ronaldo pairing would satisfy me, as long as it isn't happening at Real.

So, Ronaldo didn't actually finish as the second top scorer in the league, which is wild because Forlan and Torres both ended up ahead of him along with Oliveira.
Regarding Raul, honestly, I think he’s becoming this massive headache for everyone at Real Madrid, and if you ask me, the front office basically views him as a liability at this point, though personally, I still feel like he belongs in the starting lineup, it's just that management sees things through a completely different lens, and since his form has dipped lately, it's become such a mess because even though he's the captain and basically the golden boy of Spanish soccer, you can't just toss him away, you know? It's not like you can just put him on the trade block without making a huge scene, plus while Owen was putting up some decent numbers, he mostly did it coming off the bench, and whenever he actually got a shot at starting, he just couldn't quite deliver, so he really failed to capitalize on the chances he was given, and look, when you're playing alongside someone like Raul at Real Madrid, you absolutely have to make every single opportunity count.
At the end of the day, if I had to pick between Owen and Raul, I'm going with Raul every single time, and as for Ronaldo, man, that guy is just an alien from another planet, there's zero debate there, but in my opinion, the midfield isn't quite clicking with him, so the strikers are the ones really feeling the pressure.

My apologies, I was a bit incoherent; it was Friday night, I had been out, and I clearly failed to structure my thoughts properly. To be clear, Inter Milan is my favorite club in Europe, alongside Hajduk Split and Leeds United (plus Flamengo and U.N.A.m). My ideal scenario would be seeing Adriano and Ronaldo playing together at Inter Milan. When I called Ronaldo a pig, I was merely reacting to previous posts—just some banter. Despite the nickname, Ronaldo has been my favorite player since '93; to me, he represents what Pele, Maradona, and Cruyff meant to the older generation. He is a football God, plain and simple. Adriano is also one of my favorites, so if the rumors are true—that Ronaldo wants back at Inter Milan and Real Madrid wants Adriano—then let them make the trade. I'd much rather watch Ronaldo in an Inter Milan jersey than a Real Madrid one. While I'd prefer both of them together, if a trade is necessary, so be it. I don't actually like Real Madrid; I only follow their games to see how many goals Ronaldo scores. As for Robinho, I thought a Ronaldo-Robinho duo might be decent if the Adriano-Ronaldo pairing doesn't happen. Though, frankly, it doesn't matter because Adriano is world-class, easily a top 5 striker.
Robinho still has to prove himself, but I watched him play and I think he might not be the next Ronaldo, but he's close. If he develops correctly, he could be one of the greats. Regardless, watching both Ronaldo and Robinho at Real Madrid next season will be difficult because I can't stand them. In truth, when Real Madrid plays, I'm not rooting for the club; I'm just rooting for Ronaldo to score. Does that clarify things a bit?

A good friend of mine has been living in New York City for about six years now, and he’s a die-hard Inter Miami supporter. He was telling me just the other day how much love and patience—and honestly, quite a bit of patience, since they put up with him for such a long time—those fans actually had for that guy.
