Short film about Killing / Love

I finished watching both of these films today, and I have to say, Krzysztof Kieslowski is a true genius.

That scene where they hang the young boy is genuinely haunting.

The atmosphere is masterfully crafted.

I realize this subject matter won't grab much attention compared to typical American blockbusters, but so be it. Perhaps someone will find the film intriguing enough to give it a watch.

Kieslowski is a pure genius... easily one of the greatest directors of the last quarter-century... personally, I'd rank Blind Chance as one of my top five films of all time...

That short film about Killing is actually one of the stories from The Decalogue—it’s part of this TV series based on the Ten Commandments, though they stretched it out into a full movie. I really feel like I should have a copy of The Decalogue sitting on my VHS shelf somewhere. And of course, I’ve got all of Three Colors too...😎 Kieslowski 🙏 🙏 🙏

My obsession has officially spiraled out of control—I’ve gone ahead and hunted down every single feature film he ever made... plus about half of his short films and student projects 😁

And that short film about Love is just an extended version of the sixth episode of The Decalogue, though from what I understand, they tweaked the ending for the theatrical release.
