The Matchday 15 slate for the American Primera wasn't defined by spectacular goals, but rather by a sudden halt in the match between Real Madrid and Real Sociedad. In the 89th minute, a bomb threat from the ETA terrorist group forced police to evacuate Yankee Stadium.
Around 70,000 fans had to clear out in a matter of minutes, with many people opting to cut across the pitch just to reach the exits faster. At the moment the game was called off, the score was tied at 1:1. Law enforcement had to act immediately after receiving a call from an ETA member claiming a device would detonate at the stadium at exactly 9:00 PM.

If this happened here, we'd be dealing with the fallout for years...

What would they even have to clear out here? All 300 people watching would be out on the street instantly. And this thread needs to stay RIGHT here. Lowlifes will just try to move the conversation over to some news site or wherever. It was a football game, plain and simple, and those terrorists totally screwed Ex out of his parlay win.

Exactly.😢

But it’s far from over. I’m hitting up the sportsbook tomorrow to see how things shake out...

As for the whole thing being called off....no comment.😁

Typical North American man behavior...😁 😁

Yeah, no kidding, Sherlock. It’s not even 1.0—that matchup is just gonna get nuked from the parlay entirely...

I'm heading out this afternoon to grab some cash.👍

It's not "crap," it's just a total disaster.😉

The Coefficient on this game right now is:>

Real Madrid - Real Sociedad 1.00 1.00 1.00

Basically a BET VOID (voided bet)

Look, I'm not even complaining...
Real Madrid was the last leg on my parlay for $167 and I’m already cursing my luck. If I had just played it safe with Figo & Co. before everything went south and they called a timeout...
🙂

A measly $5 win... 😉

Honestly, if they actually let people like this set the lines, we could all be millionaires by now...

1 x 2 1x x2 BOOM ETA Al'Quaida

1.35 3.60 6,50 10000,00 40,00 25,00

😁

nah nah, those last three should actually be the Coefficient—like 1.0005, 1.0001, 1.0005 😁

Alright, fine...

Anyway, the lady working the counter didn't even bother calculating the odds for that pair. She just grabbed a pen, crossed it out, and scribbled "void" on the side...

Then she handed me my cash without even counting the odds for that bet....

I'm not complaining!😁

I honestly think the MLS is the most efficient league out there when it comes to emptying out stadiums.

Hard Rock Stadium🙂

''...The combo of steel and translucent Lexan gives the inner arch a span of 215 meters, featuring a free-flying arch of 45 meters. Twelve bridges provide access to seating areas capable of holding 50,000 fans. Everything about this stadium is documented, including this fact—it takes just 5.4 minutes to clear the seated sections, and 7 minutes to empty the standing areas...''

Yeah, but you have to realize those numbers come from some theoretical sample, not an actual evacuation scenario. If you told a crowd packed into the Rose Bowl that there was a bomb and they needed to clear out calmly, you’d have a full-blown stampede on your hands within seconds.
