This movie is nothing compared to the Godsend... It’s absolutely devoid of any actual horror, and frankly, it lacks even a shred of logic or purpose. I would strongly advise avoiding this at all costs.
I fell for the movie preview, but honestly, you don't even need to see that to know better.

So, I headed over to the movie theater yesterday to catch this one, mostly just because the trailer looked so promising... like, if the teaser is that good, how bad could it be, right?
And honestly, the first forty minutes actually kept me hooked, but then they completely ruined the whole vibe by throwing in some ridiculous aliens and just making a total mess of the plot. On top of that, the popcorn was way too salty and even my Coke tasted off for some reason, I have no idea why...
Such a letdown.

Absolutely phenomenal garbage... if you’re looking for a way to flush about $5.00 down the toilet, this is definitely your best bet! 😉 First off, the trailer looks incredibly promising, which sets you up perfectly for the inevitable disappointment when the movie starts out decent and then quickly devolves into a subpar episode of the Twilight Zone—and I mean one of the really bad ones! 😉 Honestly, what on earth was Moorika even doing acting in this thing? 😲 It remains a total mystery to me! 😢 Just know that you can all thank me later for saving you the cash! 😉

The movie was alright, I guess, but it wasn't exactly edge-of-your-seat material. If it had come out about ten years ago, I might have actually found it interesting, but my first thought watching it was just, "Pffft, they're trying too hard to act like it's File X." Seriously: conspiracy theories, paranoia, intelligence agencies, mysterious abductions... the whole bit. Using the perspective of a mother searching for her missing child is a solid concept, but overall, I wasn't particularly impressed. Ebiga.

What a head-scratcher of a movie! Honestly, I don't have the energy to sit through it a second time because it's just so overwhelming!

By the way, you should definitely check out the message boards over on IMDb; there are some pretty solid theories floating around there...

It’s nothing special, but man, you guys are really overdoing it with the hate job🙄 🙄

On the flip side, I actually love the parts where aliens snatch people up—especially when Alfre Woodard just cruises off into space by herself😂

Yeah, I caught it yesterday and honestly, looking back at everything I've seen lately—both at home and in theaters—I've sat through plenty of films that were much worse. Much more transparently bad. Personally, I'd call this one decent.👍

This movie had such potential to be actually good and unique. They really missed the mark on the plot and that ending 😁 I mean, aliens? Seriously? Such a cliché move for a film like this 🙄
I do dig the idea that love—specifically a mother's love—is more powerful than any force or even being forgotten 🙂 That’s why I think they should’ve spent more time on the script and come up with something a bit more clever.

And yeah, I definitely jumped in my seat a couple of times during the movie 😁

Watched it yesterday. The first half is actually gripping—well shot, fast-paced, and keeps you on edge. But that ending? A total letdown. You’re just left sitting there feeling frustrated by how incredibly cliché the resolution was. Honestly, I don't think they needed the aliens at all...

It’s basically the same trajectory as Dreamcatcher. You get this incredibly promising setup, only for the whole thing to derail into some stupid alien plot. Total waste. 👎

Just saw this on TV and wanted to jump on here to say this is basically just an unreleased episode of Dosje X.
