There’s really only one perennial favorite at every tournament—Brazil.
The rest are just passing through; I guess France might actually get lucky if they qualify with that kind of play. As for the Germans, being the hosts is probably the only reason they won't crash out early.

The new head coach—who I know, though I'm keeping his name under wraps🙂 😂 is a guy who’ll turn Danijel Pranjić into a New York City Marathon winner, Tudor will be famous for being a remote-controlled player run by an AI that refuses to permit a single mistake, Zivkovic will be out there performing computer-calculated passes with this exact same squad, Sokot will win gold in the 100-meter sprint at the Olympics, and yours truly will develop an agent-based tactical simulator that turns the American national team into a football machine that crushes opponents with an expected efficiency of 5-0 per match (actually 5.12-0.27, but let's round off, shall we?) 😂 😂 😂

...honestly, I don't think Brazil has ever actually won a World Cup held in Europe—it’s always been some European powerhouse taking the trophy...

...honestly, it just hit me again after reading that—and yeah, like I said before, I was just thinking out loud since I wasn't totally sure myself...
...watching them play is honestly beautiful compared to watching some soul-crushing, mindless ball-chasing torture, but man, I’m really hoping that by the World Cup 2006, some European national team finally steps up to actually challenge Brazil... I mean, they already have five titles under their belt—when are we actually going to catch up to them???
