I know I sound completely unhinged, but honestly, I can't help it.
I had someone break into my house once, so maybe that's where this constant paranoia comes from? Who knows...

Forget the knives and the scissors—just go buy yourself a Glock 19 and slide it under your pillow.😉 😁

I mean, I could seriously get a pet, or at least grab one of those garden gnomes that whistles whenever someone walks by, just to start things off...😁

Let me go on a quick little tangent here. You actually gave me an idea, so I spent today hunting through The Beatles and Walmart trying to find that whistling gnome, but they don't have it :-( Seriously, tell me where to find one! I'll give you one for free if you find it...

Thanks for the tips! 😘

I feel like I'm getting a little less spooked lately... though I still leave the lights on and the TV running just in case. Plus, I’ve got my fair share of tears to shed from time to time...

vividotter97, I spotted that garden gnome at Billie ages ago, but now I can't find it anywhere... maybe check Walmart. If you track it down, let me know!
It'll be quite the circus once I actually get one sitting in my living room...😁

I guess the big thing here is just that you’ve finally started living on your own. It sounds like you're just dealing with some separation anxiety, which is totally normal—like, if you were sharing a room with your sister until you moved into your own apartment, it would probably hit you pretty hard too.
It'll pass once you get used to the new routine, I'm sure...

Aha, I get it now! It’s not even about me personally, I just want to toss him into a garden purely for the hell of it. What's your deal anyway... you having some kind of bad run with women lately or something?🙂

Ha! 😁

(They’re watching me... tracking my every move... they want my spinal cord... nobody believes me... they say, "There's nothing in the fridge, you must have missed your meds again!"... but I know the truth... it's all part of one massive conspiracy. But I can't talk about that... I'd have to kill you first...)

Maybe you're just reacting to stress, especially if things are getting intense with school or work lately.
It’ll probably pass—no doubt about it.
Just take some pills 🙂

So, how’d it all go down? I haven't really been keeping up with True Crime lately... 😉

I’m feeling a lot less anxious now. I suppose it just took some time to adjust. It isn't like the fear has completely vanished, but having the lights on definitely helps.

By the way, there aren't any gnomes around anywhere.😁

Well, looks like we’re gonna have to roll up our sleeves and build a living 😁 ourselves. They say even someone without a lick of training could pull it off 😘
