Some clubs are sitting on hundreds of millions in debt yet they just buy whoever they want without any accountability. Meanwhile, other teams try to actually balance their books and end up getting relegated, like Empoli. Last year, Cosenza lost their license just because they were short $200,000.
Players who make more money in a single year than you or I will ever see in our entire lives are fixing matches simply because they're greedy.
