As a fan of the original trilogy, I found this to be excellent. It’s packed with nods to the previous films, the violence is visceral, and the dark humor and horror atmosphere hit all the right marks. It actually gets better with every viewing...

Well, I wasn't even aware they had filmed a new installment. The teaser trailer caught my attention, and while I’m hoping for a quality production, one can never be too certain about these things—anything could happen at this stage.
The Necronomicon looks slightly different than in previous iterations, though it remains a fixture, much like the chainsaw (though Ash Williams isn't wielding it here, which is a minor detail).
I had entertained the thought that Bruce Campbell might make a brief appearance on screen, but it appears not. I checked the credits online to verify the character list, and he is listed merely as a producer.
Having watched the original films and the Ash vs Evil Dead series, I fully intend to watch this one as well. 👍

Yeah, I suppose the trailer looks alright—it’ll be worth a watch, I guess. Bruce Campbell definitely left his mark on this one. Now, if only the production companies would actually...
The soundtrack sounds pretty much identical to the one used in the series From.

Yet another trailer has surfaced, though this one comes courtesy of Warner Bros. Perhaps it might be worth watching, I suppose.

Dumpster fire? Man, this series is actually closer to the original movies than that 2013 reboot ever was. I honestly don't get why people hyped that one up so much—it was just mediocre. And looking at this trailer, there’s still a lot of generic stuff going on.
