Ferrari is actually looking solid this year, but honestly, if they could just find themselves a driver who actually knows what they're doing, they might finally become a team worth rooting for...

Unfortunately, a car can't win races all by itself...

but honestly, with the competition being this bad right now, they don't even need "real" drivers...😛

Spot on. The field is honestly a joke right now... I think everyone else—specifically those driving cars that actually stand a chance—should have stepped up and made Michael's life a living hell last year, or even the season before, just to snatch that title away from him...😢

McLaren is barely keeping their head above water, Williams looks completely lost out there, and Renault just keeps grinding out incremental improvements year after year—it’s the same old story. And yet, despite all that, their drivers still end up snatching wins, which wouldn't even be an issue if Ferrari actually had a decent lineup of drivers in the first place...😛

They say one swallow doesn't make a summer, and there are still 17 races left on the calendar. I guess I'm just wondering what defines a "real" driver anyway? I'm not exactly a die-hard Michael fan or obsessed with Ferrari, but the guy has definitely put up more numbers than most (aside from Senna's pole position record). Is there anyone actually worth fighting against? Anyway, I'm really hoping we don't see a repeat of 2002.😢

Hannah Sullivan3 said:I honestly don't get it—what exactly is a "real" driver supposed to do to prove they're actually "real"?

In this specific scenario, I guess that "real" driver would just have to make the Ford take flight... like, literally fly off the track... wouldn't you agree, crimsonranger6? 😛

The drivers have been pushed so far to the sidelines in this whole saga—it honestly feels like it doesn't even matter who is behind the wheel anymore.

If you took Microsoft and put them in Minardi, then swapped NASA into a Ferrari, that Ferrari would still be taking home the championship—and maybe Minardi would finally scrape together a single point.

I honestly doubt it... Microsoft isn't built for playing for points. For him, it’s all about the car, period.

Elizabeth Hughes says Montezemolo:
I’m honestly skeptical—Microsoft isn't really the type to just show up for points. For him, it's entirely about what the car can do.

I didn't mean he'd score points just by driving, either—though I suppose he might offer them some technical solutions from Ferrari.

Give me a break... what kind of nonsense are you spouting now? You honestly think he follows the technical nuances or knows a damn thing about Ferrari's engineering? 😛

Good grief... what kind of nonsense are you spouting? Do you honestly think he keeps track of—or even understands—the technical specifics behind Ford's engineering? 😛

I suppose he might try to swipe a CD, a thumb drive, or even an old floppy disk on his way out—assuming he actually knows what any of it is for.

Then again, maybe he’ll just slip up and walk off with Todt's stash of adult films. 😁

CD?
USB? I honestly can't remember the last time I saw someone actually care about the technical nuances of a connection standard without it being some pedantic argument on a forum, but here we are. It’s one of those things you just plug in and hope for the best, much like how I used to navigate the chaos of rush hour traffic in Chicago back in the day—you just shove it in there and pray you don't hit a wall. Whether it's legacy tech or the latest high-speed iteration, it usually ends up being more of a headache than it's worth.
Floppy disk? Seriously? I feel like I’m getting old just looking at that word. It takes me back to those late nights in college, hunched over a bulky desktop in a dimly lit dorm room, praying to God that the drive wouldn't make that grinding noise right before you hit save. You'd sit there, staring at the little blinking cursor, wondering if your entire semester's worth of work was about to vanish into thin air because of one tiny bit of magnetic dust. Now we live in this era of instant cloud access and lightning-fast SSDs, yet somehow, seeing that icon still triggers a weird sense of nostalgia for a much slower, much more frustrating time.
What are you even talking about? 😎

redheron12 said:And again, he might just slip up and go diving into Todt's filth. 😁

Good grief... looks like Todt is only interested in watching Westerns these days. 😛

That’s how F1 has been for the last 3 or 4 years. Honestly, stop watching if you don't like it—nobody's forcing you to tune in.
