With the race drawing so close, I’ve been sitting here mulling things over, wondering which of the heavy hitters might be the first to have their luck run dry—you know, the ones who might end up trailing smoke, dealing with some catastrophic technical glitch, or just losing their grip on reality when the car decides it’s had enough and simply gives up the ghost.

Last year I put my money on Ferrari, but this season I'm backing Williams

I have this nagging little suspicion, though I could be completely off base, that we might actually be looking at a McLaren move here...

Well, I’ve certainly never had a "gut feeling" like that in my life!

I’m leaning toward McLaren too... though I wouldn't bet the farm that Ferrari won't lose a winglet or two because they're held together by nothing but prayer and some heavy-duty duct tape... not that they'll actually throw in the towel, though... hopefully... 😎

I’d put my money on McLaren, for sure. Williams seems to have actually done their homework regarding reliability this time around; they've made enough progress that I don't expect them to just fall apart mid-race... though, who knows? If they haven't truly learned their lesson from previous seasons, we might still see a rearview mirror fly off at some point. 🙂

Is Renault just so incredibly reliable that nobody expects them to drop out, or are they just so insignificant that nobody even notices them? 😁
I guess I think it’ll be McLaren instead. 😉

Not sure why they didn't even bring BAR to the table...

First, you've got Button bowing out, then Sato goes flying off the track... and finally, it’ll be high time for Michael Schumacher to call it quits because the car just can't keep up with the tech requirements! 👍

McLaren...😢
The USA just knew how to wear them both out... 👎
and I really don't like seeing it happen...

Honestly, I’m just sitting here hoping both Ferrari drivers have an engine failure and pull out early!😁 😁

Schumi will probably be the first one out!🙂 🙂 🙂

...just so the rest of the field actually has a shot, right?

Williams really got a bit too cocky there; honestly, they deserved to be the first ones out! 😛 That said, Ferrari has had such reliable cars for so long that if they go back to these new designs, it might finally be their turn to face some mechanical drama!😁

Well, it's probably just a tactical move to prevent everyone from jumping on the bandwagon at once, isn't it?🙂

I had this dream the other day where two Renaults were tearing it up on a track in the USA, but then, out of nowhere, both engines just gave up the ghost in the exact same corner. It was surreal. Regardless, I ended up casting my vote for Ferrari this time around, purely out of spite🙂

Calling it that is a bit of a stretch... yikes.😎

Understatement of the century.😕 😲

You’ve gotta be kidding me!😁

As for the competition? We'll see how that plays out, I guess.👋

I ended up putting my vote on Williams, though honestly, I couldn't even tell you why.
P.S. First time hanging out here, so hopefully I'll be around more often. I've been glued to Formula 1 since the year Ayrton Senna passed away😢 (pretty sure it was '94)
I'm a huge Ferrari fan, even if I can see you guys aren't exactly feeling the love for them😁
That's about all I've got to say for now.
Catch ya later.

For real though.

Thanks, man. Honestly, hearing that makes me feel a lot better.😁
As for why I'm pulling for Ferrari no matter what? Well...

Mr. Ex. President😁

The former President said:So, why did I go all out for Ford?

Honestly, there’s no need to apologize; people commit far more ridiculous blunders than that, so don't give it a second thought...
