...exactly, but those films weren't brought in by a big studio distributor; in this case, Marvel just ordered them directly...

Video store clerks are always the biggest buzzkills because they just hate everything, even though there’s a huge crowd of people who would actually want to rent stuff. My local clerk—well, she isn't even the owner—literally tells people looking to rent Solaris that it’s garbage and they shouldn't bother. Like, wtf?
The movie is actually pretty solid, and just because she doesn't like it doesn't mean nobody else is allowed to watch it... plus, obviously, people return the movies... I honestly thought they were supposed to be responsible for recouping their investment, but since she doesn't own the place, she couldn't care less.

Look... it really just depends on which shop you go to. Whenever someone asks me for a recommendation, I just tell them whether I personally liked the movie or not.me So, I try to stay out of the debate regarding what everyone else thinks...

...so, yeah... got a promo Netflix disc from Blitz today, and apparently "Metropolis" by Osamu Tezuka should be dropping soon 😁...

The "4 Warriors" release by Tsui Hark includes the CB trailer. The cover claims there are two trailers, but it's just one.

Looks like the US market is finally starting to open up to more "Eastern" films. 😁

...I actually have The Returner at my place on DVD, so I'll check it out. The promo DVD I picked up has that trailer on it, which probably means it's coming to theaters here soon too...

It’s honestly one of the better comedies I've seen in a while, especially with a few standout bits—like those Jews in Hitler's car, the cow on the skateboard, the bus packed with Lucy, and Mr. Bean pretending to be The Italian...😁
The cast is pretty stellar too: John Cleese, Rowan Atkinson, Whoopi Goldberg, and a bunch of others..

I heard this flick is actually pretty solid... now I just need to track it down somewhere

I've only ever seen rat raca. It was actually quite a fun watch, I guess.

And honestly, how could it not be? I mean, you've got Jerry Zucker directing, plus there's Rowan Atkinson and Whoopi Goldberg in the mix too...
