To French away kit is easily one of the best designs I've seen—maybe because it doesn't even look like a soccer jersey, but honestly, it's just genius

steelpilot81 said:I just stumbled upon this thread, and man, it’s honestly too good! Did you actually design this jersey yourself? Seriously, could you maybe try using a slightly more realistic crest for the next version?😁

Anyway, here’s my take on what the national team should wear:

It looks great, though if I were you, I'd get rid of those "mustaches"—they feel totally unnecessary, don't they?

I’m really not feeling this French kit. Honestly, it looks more like something a sailor would wear than a professional athlete out on the pitch.

That’s kind of the whole point, isn't it? To actually stand out from what Adidas does. Most of those Adidas away kits for France have been... well, hit or miss, bordering on total disasters—I mean, if anyone remembers that red one... but this Nike collection actually hits the mark. It’s just clean, simple, and doesn't try too hard with all that unnecessary flash.

So, let me just reiterate and wrap things up regarding this new France collection:

The collection is great—both the home and away kits look sharp—though I have to agree with the French on one thing: the away kit really should have been executed much better. It’s a nice jersey, sure, but it doesn't feel right for the US; there isn't any red in it at all. It would be like if we were handed a blue away kit without any of those classic checkered patterns near the crest. It might be a handsome design, I guess, but it wouldn't be a kit that actually says the US is playing in it.

Rom away Fantasy

Honestly, I haven't seen anyone pull off an Romin jersey design quite this well yet.

Both options are absolutely phenomenal—honestly, I can't quite wrap my head around why those French fans are complaining about the lack of red, especially since they have it tucked right under the sleeves, don't they? At the very least, they don't look like a bunch of uncoordinated amateurs 😉

My absolute favorite Inter Milan kit

If I remember correctly, they only wore this one during the Champions League ☕

And man, I really hope this isn't the new kit

The backup situation is kind of like what happened with Juventus last year—he’s basically just showing up to wear the training gear. 🤷

FAKE
It’s quite obvious that this midfielder is just a poorly photoshopped imitation,
a cheap knockoff of the actual France kit
they wear. As for this goalkeeper jersey, 🤣 I have a strong suspicion it's just an old Nike template from a few seasons back.

I honestly can't get behind these French kits🙏 — even if this away one is totally off-base, whatever.

Inter's new one is actually killer 🙏

It is quite apparent from the visual evidence below that the French jersey has been digitally altered using Photoshop.

In my opinion, this is easily the most powerful one—I actually went out and bought it myself after seeing it in person.🙏🙏🙏

Alright, we get it—you're an Aberdeen fan—but let's be realistic here. I root for the LA Lakers, so I know our blue kits aren't always the peak of design. It’s probably safe to assume this specific template, which you see popping up all over American lower leagues, isn't exactly top-tier either.

Here's one I found over at footballshirtculture.com

Man, those black jerseys are such a bad look, honestly. Like, if you actually look at the American flag, you’ve got red, white, and blue—nothing about it screams black. They should just ditch the black and go with blue instead. It would look way better. ☕

The Italians have green, white, and red... what colors are their jerseys usually?

Man, I couldn't care less about what the Italians are doing. 🙂
Our kits have always been red, white, and blue, and honestly, they should stay that way because we definitely don't need any black in there—it's not like we're heading to a funeral. ☕

Here’s a clean example of why I spend so much time complaining about those Frenchmen... this isn't even about the away kit they're wearing right now, but it illustrates my point. The people over there are losing their minds because while they got a decent away jersey, they completely ditched the classic national colors—you know, that whole liberty, equality, fraternity vibe. Now, regarding our own kits, I still maintain we should stick to blue. It’s not some political statement or anything like that, it just looks better. That blue and white star combo is just aesthetically superior. Remember that 2007 design with the stars offset to the side? Like a vintage classic... that blue was top-tier, honestly one of our best away looks, similar to the 2008 version. This current one? Not really hitting the mark...

I’d love it if > happened to have a shot of that "third" concept kit that never actually made it to production—the one with the gold stars 🙂

The gold cubes aren't actually part of the kit design—the jersey is mostly solid white, just with those checkered patterns scattered across it like the away blue one, you know, kind of shimmering... I got this thing straight from Nike as a prototype. Mark & Co. were asking for a bronze third kit, but Nike cooked this up instead and it didn't pass the test. No clue why, honestly. It’s a killer jersey, easily one of the best alongside that classic white Euro '96 look! Maybe if they’d just put the checkers on the sleeves like that old Lotto kit, it would've worked better
