So, I grabbed a kit and a tee from the AC Milan online store—totaled about $75—and it showed up via UPS in just five days flat! Best part? Zero customs, zero sales tax, nothing. Honestly, I was bracing myself for a massive headache at the border, so I’m absolutely stoked that everything slipped through without any extra fees.

But then you look at Liverpool FC... they ship through FedEx, and from what I hear, they actually have their own logistics setup right here in New York City to handle the customs stuff. They basically find every little way to tack on extra processing fees—like an extra $15 or $20 on top of the actual duties and taxes. It's such a racket.
I’ve decided to just hold off on the Liverpool gear for now. I'm gonna wait until next summer when they switch over to the new Nike jersey designs. Hopefully, they'll run a clearance sale like last year where you can snag them for like $25. Better to be patient than get ripped off, right?

I spent about 70 bucks on the gear and didn't get hit with a single extra fee. Honestly, I was bracing myself for a massive bill, so I was pretty stoked when it actually happened.

Then you've got Liverpool FC shipping via FedEx, and from what I hear, they have their own logistics outfit based right here in New York City that handles the customs stuff. They love to sneak in those little "processing fees" of maybe 20 bucks plus all the standard taxes and duties. It's a racket, really.
So, you know what I did? I decided to just hold off on that jersey. Why rush? I'll grab it next summer when they switch over to the new Nike jersey designs. Hopefully, they'll be running a sale for around 30 bucks, just like they did last year.

But seriously, is it impossible to just find a jersey at some local shop or through something like Craigslist here in the States? I wouldn't mind paying up to 30 bucks$117

Most of the stuff you see listed on those local marketplace sites is straight-up fake—I mean, they look like junk that sells for maybe $30 on eBay based on the crappy photos they upload. I actually fell for it myself once; I ordered two different Liverpool FC jerseys through eBay, and both turned out to be total knockoffs, even though the sellers had those "99% positive feedback" ratings that make them look legit. It’s a scam, honestly.

Look, just head over to the Adidas store nearby—you know, one of those big ones in the mall—and check if they have the Liverpool FC home kits in stock. Just ask them if they can order the away kits for you too. But honestly? Even if they do get them in, expect to shell out like $500$183 because that's basically what everything in their shop costs these days. It's highway robbery.

I've lost count of how many times I've gone through the official team stores to pick up jerseys, various shirts, hats, and other gear.
My collection includes items from Portsmouth FC, West Ham United, Hull City AFC, Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC, and even the new Liverpool FC away kit.
Standard shipping usually runs anywhere from $10 to $15. If you want to be smart about it, wait until after February or March when the current season is winding down; that's when most of the merchandise hits the clearance racks. Honestly, if a club is struggling near the bottom of the standings, the discounts can be massive.
Take West Ham United, for example—since they're having a rough season, their prices have plummeted. You can grab a jersey for just $13 right now.

Up until this point, everything I've ordered has been handled by UPS. There really wasn't any other option provided at checkout. The delivery itself is actually quite efficient; I usually see my stuff arrive within two or three days.
However, the absolute worst-case scenario is when your package gets held up at Customs. It’s happened to me four or five times already. Looking back, about half of my orders have ended up stuck in some bureaucratic limbo. When that happens, your delivery timeline gets pushed back an extra few days while you scramble to settle the fees.

A couple of weeks ago, I pulled the trigger on the new Liverpool FC away jersey. It comes with that gift set you saw advertised on their site. They're claiming global delivery on May 12th, and apparently, they're using FedEx this time. I haven't dealt with them personally, so I'm just crossing my fingers that it clears Customs without any drama.

I find myself checking this thread pretty frequently because I have a bit of an obsession with kits, and my own collection is getting somewhat excessive.

Now, if you happen to be looking for high-quality replicas, I stumbled upon a vendor who does an incredible job.

There is practically no discernible difference compared to the authentic versions. How do I know? I've done the comparison myself.🙂
Since the official gear is so overpriced these days, these jerseys serve as a solid, budget-friendly alternative.
Just a heads-up: shipping from this specific seller takes about three to four weeks, but so far, I haven't had a single issue with Customs flagging them.

I’ve always wondered about the mindset of these collectors—do you actually wear these jerseys sometimes, or are they just sitting in a box somewhere, still tucked under the original tags? And when you’re hunting for them, do you prioritize finding your exact size, especially when dealing with those rare finds?

Honestly, I can't bring myself to rip the tags off, so I almost never actually wear my jerseys. I still collect them religiously, though... I just can't count the number of times I've actually put one on. It's basically zero.

I don't know, maybe it's some kind of psychological disorder...😁

I wear mine all the time. I hit the gym pretty regularly, so I end up throwing them on for workouts quite often.

Pretty much every day. I'm hitting the gym, going for runs, doing some hiking... and honestly, even during the summer, I’m always out at the beach. 🙂

Anyone know anything about these guys? They seem alright enough, but I don't want to get burned if they're sketchy... 🤷

Personally, if I were looking to buy $100, I would much rather just order an authentic one directly from the official website

I mean, I've got my doubts about whether it's actually legit, but hey—if it makes you happy, go for it!

Where's the actual mystery with this new kit? You can't find a single decent photo anywhere.
Those thin lines are a total miss, and the material looks like cheap junk from a local State Fair.

At first I thought the jersey was 🤮🤦 but it's not looking that bad now. Still, I prefer the ones with the standard wide stripes.

Man, that looks like a total scam—the quality on those jerseys is honestly garbage.

Now this is a legit site; they actually carry high-quality gear.
If you've got the cash, you're better off just grabbing one from here.

Look, if you want the real deal, use this site. They actually stock quality gear.
If you’ve got the cash, just buy from here instead. It’s worth it.

I mean, if it's $50 and there aren't any hidden fees—you know, like shipping or import taxes—then maybe it's a steal. But otherwise? Forget it.

$55 including shipping 🙂—but there’s no player name, no number, and zero patches 🙂. A genuine jersey costs 🙂

Your jersey will be hitting the shelves at the Adidas store in New York this fall, so just sit tight and relax

Yeah, sure, but buying it at the Adidas store means I'm paying full price $183. Honestly, I’m thinking about just ordering this one online for like 43 bucks. It's not a huge deal, right? At least then I know it’s actually legit and not some knockoff. Besides, I wasn't even planning on getting names or numbers on it anyway.

And how many pounds does 43 kilograms actually come out to?
