...Finally got my hands on the DVD and "Johnson's Life." Honestly, I’m a little let down by the bonus features, but hey, better than nothing (those SNL fans really went all out with the extras on "..searching for the Holy Grail"). Just need "The meaning of life MP" to round out the trilogy... By the way, how did nobody think to mention this trilogy in the other active thread?
I really hope the distributors wake up and just release the whole series on DVD at once...

the meaning of life MP hit DVD a few years back, though without American subtitles. I have it at my place if anyone cares.
the Holy Grail came out on DVD a few months ago. The DVD is actually pretty solid. It’s got some documentaries, a few new sketches, stuff like that.
I watched Life of Brian a couple days ago. These movies just never get old; they stay fresh forever.
That scene where John Cleese plays the Roman centurion correcting Chapman's grammar while he's tagging graffiti on the palace walls... it's legendary.
Honestly... writing about Saturday Night Live is pointless. You just have to watch them...

Hands down, it's the greatest comedy ever made. Even when you stack it up against the 'Holy Grail'.

Absolutely brutal, right? Especially that whole ROMANI EUNT DOMUS bit.
There are definitely better ones out there. "He is no Messiah, he is just a bad boy," blah blah blah. Now that I think about it, I could go on forever. (Big nose, crucifixion? Nah, freedom...) Honestly, thank God more people turned on him.
