If you’re a fan of irony, this one is definitely calling your name—I thought it was fantastic. I feel like Clooney really nailed the tone here... it’s just packed with great scenes and some genuinely funny moments. That ending where they're mixing up the salt? So good—honestly, it's been a long time since a movie finale hit me that well. Has anyone else caught this yet? I'd love to hear what you all thought...

A little interesting, a bit funny, and at times, a tad slow...

The trio...

I guess we just have different tastes! I wasn't bored for even a second, though I did find Phone Booth a little tedious myself...

Look, I’ll be totally biased here and give this movie an excellent rating, but I mean it! To be fair, the pacing could have been a bit punchier in certain spots—kind of like how the ending picked up speed. That said, I absolutely loved how they handled the romance; it felt really well-developed. There’s also one great takeaway right at the start: if you're curious, just go watch it! Oh, and by the way... that guy has a killer ass. 🙂

Man, since you brought that up: I just saw the trailer and was totally let down. Maybe I just expected the movie to take a different direction, or maybe the teaser itself was just poorly made, but now I'm seriously debating whether it's even worth going to the theater to see it.

Look, I’ll give credit where it’s due—there are some killer scenes in there, the character dynamics actually feel fleshed out, and there are plenty of moments that should have landed well. But the pacing? It's just completely off. It’s one of those cases where you realize why actors need to focus on acting and directors need to actually, you know, direct.
Beyond that, I caught at least six or seven beats that were clearly meant to be funny, but the crowd in the theater just sat there—dead silent, totally unimpressed.

I think the pacing is actually spot on—nothing wrong with it at all. Different people just find different things funny, right? Like I said, the movie is just loaded with irony.

redowl90, if you’ve got nothing better to do, go catch it at the theater...

I thought the movie was fantastic. I was really drawn to George's direction—that’s actually what I was paying most attention to, along with the lead's ass, obviously 😉. Every single shot felt artistic and carefully planned without being annoying about it. Good job, Georgie! 👍

That scene with Brad Pitt and Matt Damon was hilarious, if you can even call it that 😁
.
As for the plot—what do you guys think? Is he actually who he claims to be in the film, or is he just schizophrenic? Hmm...

On a scale of one to five, I’d give this movie a solid 3.

If this weren't based on a "true story," the overall impression would have been pretty lackluster, honestly.
There were moments where the pacing just dragged—I actually found myself rewinding certain scenes because my mind started wandering off entirely. Don't get me wrong, there are some clever directorial flourishes and interesting camera work/framing techniques here and there, but that's about it.
The actual plot feels thin; it lacks that necessary tension or sense of urgency to really pull you in. So, like I said: a 3.
