Lately, whenever I get worked up or deal with a bit of stress, I get this weird shaking sensation—my hands start trembling slightly, I feel off, my body feels weak, and my heart starts racing. Sometimes it just hits out of nowhere too; right now, for instance, I’m feeling restless for no real reason, my heart is pounding, and I feel a little weak, though not as much as usual.
What's going on here? Is this a physical issue or is it all in my head?

Thanks in advance 🙂

It’s probably just psychological... RELAX...🙂

Try cutting down on your stress levels first and just see how things play out 😉, but if it doesn't let up, go see a doctor

Is that an adrenaline rush when you get pissed off??? Or maybe some kind of adrenal secretion disorder?? A buddy of mine deals with this, nothing major, he just tends to blow up easily sometimes (though he usually uses it as an excuse when he's acting like a total coward during work).

You should definitely go see a doctor...

Probably both. You feeling a bit of panic? Maybe you're a college student... most students deal with this stuff all the time. 😢

I could use some "help."
Last night, my husband just started shaking uncontrollably out of nowhere.
He was trembling hard—his hands were ice cold, almost like he had zero circulation in his fingers...
I gave him some Advil and a cup of tea, then tucked him in under three heavy blankets. He wasn't in any pain, but we were both pretty freaked out. He actually had a root canal yesterday—he’s always been terrified of the dentist—so I thought maybe it was just some kind of delayed shock from the procedure (it happened about five hours after he left the clinic).
The shaking eventually stopped after two hours, but he spent the rest of the night sweating through the sheets. He took an Aleve before trying to sleep, too.

Does anyone have any idea what might cause this??

Have him check his temperature (shivers and chills often happen when a fever spikes suddenly, followed by sweating) and get him to a doctor! You need to figure out why that happened. This doesn't sound like "shock." Is he dealing with anything else? Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, issues urinating, a cough, a rash, sore throat, runny nose, or a headache...?

They need to go see their doctor. I’m assuming they were given local anesthesia during the root canal, so they should check if that could be triggering these symptoms—though my gut tells me it's more likely a fever. Getting a nerve pulled isn't exactly a walk in the park, so it’s entirely possible this is some kind of reaction.

He’s dealing with ulcerative colitis, though we don't think that's actually what's causing this.
On top of that, he gets pretty worked up over our finances—which are basically non-existent right now👎 ...and he tends to keep everything to himself, especially when he's messing with the money... I told him he needs to see a doctor, so we'll just have to wait and see.
thnx

It goes something like this. I frequently wake up in the middle of the night 😠 gripped by these intense, full-body tremors. When it happens, breathing becomes a struggle, and I lose all sense of control over my physical movements; even when I finally managed to touch my own arm, I wasn't even cold, so it wasn't some reaction to the temperature.
So, here we are. Does anyone have any experience with something like this?
Just for context, I’m 13 years old.
Thanks 😛
