Good grief, does every single movie adaptation actually need to be measured against the book? They’re two completely different mediums. Unless the quality is a total disaster, comparing them like this feels a bit silly, if you ask me...

It's like looking at a painting of an apple and then eating a real one... you wouldn't say, "Well, it's okay, but the drawing was much more delicious." It makes no sense.

All I can say about these deep philosophical analyses and endless theories is this: the book was better! 😛

I’m currently sitting around waiting for the third Harry Potter book to arrive. Honestly, it feels like I've been waiting forever.
Even though I usually find the books way better than the movies, seeing Gary Oldman play Sirius in part three...

A Scanner Darkly is the winner, hands down (especially the book 🙏). Now I’m just sitting here waiting for them to bring the Hitchhiker's Guide to the movies in my neck of the woods 🙂.

And here comes the new Terrence Malick with 'The New World.' Good old Malick... 🙏
