I know plenty of people online don't have any shame, but this—this feels like a whole new way to hit rock bottom.🙄

It’s actually kind of wild to see people even bothering to comment on the junior championship game for the biggest club in America right here.

I could easily give in to the urge to dismantle your argument entirely, given how you seem unable to think outside the narrow box created by central media manipulation—all while wrapping hate speech in the shiny cellophane of fighting imaginary enemies.
To put it simply, those kids are victims of your own inadequacy and desperate need for megalomania, especially when the senior team can't manage anything more than a runner-up finish aided by questionable officiating and handouts from the owners. When I say victims, I mean they are being used as pawns in a marketing campaign designed to make you look like the greatest entity in history. Honestly, they probably would have played much better yesterday if you hadn't burdened them with such massive expectations just to feed your own egos.
Prlja made a solid point, but again, you aren't quite equipped to grasp the message: this isn't about mocking the players, it's about a media circus creating unnecessary pressure instead of allowing for natural development. It’s over now, and they have to deal with the fallout of this loss. I actually feel for them.
I don't know why I subject myself to this. Such is life...

The haters will claim they're celebrating losses because that's just how Americans act (remember 2018?). Oops.

As for Prlja, it’s just more proof of that deep-seated, incurable inferiority complex coming out of the West Coast. It’s fine for people who live and breathe football, but I can't imagine someone like a local sports commentator making fun of a team in New York or LA. It’s honestly pathological.

But at least the guy is being honest, so respect there. And here’s another lesson for our youth and everyone else watching: just pure, unadulterated disdain for you people. Nothing more, nothing less.

My only regret is that none of our public figures have the guts to finally give you guys the middle finger you deserve, just so we can finally put this whole chapter to rest once and for all. NY=LA.

Not true at all.

The only real difference is that Prlja is way more famous and influential than those other guys, so that's really it... Now carry on.👍

There are plenty of them who are basically toddlers. Sure, they're young, but they're acting like total snowflakes...

Honestly, you can't win with people who can't take a joke at their own expense.

Besides, those fritules are actually pretty tasty.

That's one way to look at it.

But to me, the much bigger difference lies in the circumstances that trigger these kinds of outbursts. This media terror we deal with here? It doesn't exist anywhere else. Someone might say, "Who cares about TV or news sites? Just shut it all down and go take a walk on the beach." And hey, that's a valid response, but whether you like it or not, we're stuck with this media landscape. Imagine being forced to read and listen to nothing but news about some soccer club's junior team from the crack of dawn... 🙏 Look, I get they're a powerhouse, but this is straight-up terror. When someone is terrorizing and harassing you like this, it's only natural that people will snap and overreact.

Those links you shared? They were reacting under totally different circumstances where a team like F.C. Portland wasn't even in their way—they just wanted to pick a fight out of pure spite, nothing more.

These guys have occupied basically everything (😁) and they're actually bragging about it. They want more. That's unheard of. I can't think of a single country in the world where an entire nation is held hostage by a single soccer club or its fan base. Seriously, find me one country where the juniors of one club and all the hype surrounding a single youth match occupy the entire national media space. Go ahead, try.
Sure, a lead sports story is fine—I support that. A long feature during the evening news? Totally fine. Taking over the entire sports section for a day? No problem. Anything within those bounds is normal because sports are great, and you have to respect what those kids achieved.
But man, what's happening now isn't healthy, and if the Portland fans had any backbone, they should be the first ones standing against it.

Though I don't expect them to push back. Instead, they'll just bask in it, enjoying their privilege and the fact that they've taken over everything. And when people complain? Well, the big shots will just ask, "What's it to you? Who cares if we're a small, underdog club instead of a massive empire?" 🙂

And really, is it the fault of those junior players... or is it the fault of the media outlets that would sell their own mothers for a few extra clicks?

You’re starting to sound a little paranoid here.🤦
Look, it isn't the club's fault that the media outlets won't stop running these stories. Honestly, they're just chasing clicks at this point. It seems like you guys think there's some deep-seated conspiracy involving the team owner and his fans trying to dodge their responsibilities, but I don't see it.

I mean, I find the way the news portals have been acting lately pretty repulsive, but you're all looking for someone to blame who isn't even in the driver's seat.

And as for Let3—I won't get too deep into it because I really don't want to get dragged into musical debates—but I'll just say this: you only like them because of that local pride thing. If they weren't from a place like Chicago or maybe New Orleans, nobody would give them a second look. Their actual musical identity is practically non-existent; it's just mediocre pop-trash masquerading as rock.

If that guy actually cared about all this media circus from the last few days, he’d be taking shots at the press instead of picking on some club's junior squad...

🙏🙏

What a joke—he basically just managed to pull two massive clowns out of his hat at once.🙏🙏

And of course, he doesn't give a damn about NK Rijeka or their youth academy—instead, he chooses to go after Armada ideologically (which is just typical for those two idiots). Not to mention how much he loves taking cheap shots at Hajduk and the local news outlets too. Basically, this guy just hates all of football. I suppose by tomorrow he’ll probably be writing about how Torcida has been praised by various famous figures from the Rijeka area over the years. Honestly, nobody sane has an issue with that, so there's really nothing controversial there.

Look, Hajduk is hands down the most popular club, so naturally, they get the most coverage—both positive and, way more often, negative. Of course, when it’s mostly negativity, this degenerate from the 3rd grade doesn't mind the bombardment one bit. But the second something positive pops up, the poor guy can't handle the media spotlight and feels "obligated" to quote stuff about Hajduk on various portals (even though, obviously, he doesn't have to).

So then, acting like the big, tolerant, urban intellectual, he decides to take a swing at... well, the youth players.🙏🙏

When a relatively decent person has an outburst of frustration and complexes like that, you can only imagine what the average fan from that region is like—you know, the cheap, low-life types, not even mentioning the absolute bottom-feeders.

But honestly, what do you expect from people who, in years past, would insult Hajduk's kids in the most disgusting ways during U-15 or U-17 matches in Rijeka? It's something that would be unthinkable in Split (or anywhere else I've been, for that matter), even when playing against a powerhouse like Dynamo. No matter how much they hate them, they've never disrespected their kids like that.

There's no lower than this guy.

Unruly hooligans from Split attacked fourteen-year-olds from Osijek. They hurled insults at them, and one kid was even punched in the head. They were saved by Petra, who managed to get them safely into her car.

I mean, it’s like your public figures aren't even the issue here, right? It's us! It's actually us! Like, it's totally one thing when people start throwing around those raw, low-blow provocations about nationality or leaning into those radical ideologies—that happens all the time, I guess—but honestly? When someone goes out of their way to be just plain, classy-level shameful with their provocations, that’s where I draw the line!

And seriously, once you hear what this guy is rambling about—it's like he doesn't even get what's going on—then it's not even surprising anymore why the average die-hard fan in a place like San Diego would react the way they do if someone just looks at them the wrong way... But hey, whatever, fine, let it be exactly how you guys want it! 👍

Haha, is it actually possible that you guys are trying to lecture anyone about respect? The whole country knows what kind of environment we're dealing with in that area. They are the very definition of barbaric and wild.

Entertainment manager Ivica Bubalo commented on Prljin's post.

- Those guys from Let 3 will do anything—literally anything—just to stay in the headlines. They can't function any other way, and their goal is to label themselves "original" just to keep sucking up taxpayer money. Seriously, they are a massive embarrassment representing America at Eurovision. I’d invite Torcida to show them some of that same "gratitude" if they ever perform in Split - Bubalo told the local news outlet.

Now they've started calling for actual violence, which honestly doesn't surprise me given where they're coming from.

Man, it’s so easy to miss how he actually phrased it. He said "during games," referring to the fans watching the junior matches in the stands... that's what the guy meant, not hooligans. But I guess you have to actually read the quote instead of playing dumb. Not everyone can handle that... 😵

"I saw this group of guys chasing down some kids in tracksuits. I just stood in front of the guys from Osijek and shoved them into the car. There were seven or eight of them—I don't know, I was freaking out," said Petra Mandić Jelaska, a football doctor at the University of Split's kinesiology department.

Just before midnight this past Saturday, local hooligans in Split went after the young Osijek players twice. First, a group of minors cornered the older youth players on Liberty Street, claiming they were part of the Torcida ultras. One kid from Osijek took a few hits, but the club doctors patched him up right there, so he didn't need a trip to the local hospital. A little later, another group of cadet players left their hotel for a quick walk to a nearby shop. Wearing their NK Osijek gear, they became targets for another group of local thugs. The Osijek kids started running for it, and luckily, Petra happened to be nearby to help them escape.
