🤣🤣 Ugh, just thinking back to that absolute madness among the casual fans... honestly, it was quite something to witness 😍

It’s just like how Livaja was totally out of it during that match against Denmark at the stadium, and then, I don't know, maybe it was just luck, but two months later he's suddenly the hero against Canada 🙂

Dolček is coming out swinging right from the jump, maybe he's just feeling lucky today? Third time's the charm, right?

I’m sitting here watching the game at a little cafe near the Marriott hotel.
Instead of actually paying attention to the match, these old guys—real old-school types—are just nursing their beers and Rieslings and showing off their automatic transmissions.
Even the waitress looks like she belongs in a different era entirely.
It was much better yesterday; we were up 2-0 and they even brought out chips with the beer.

Even if it was a decent game, what Mudražijin did would’ve been called offsides in any other league, but hey, they aren't playing bad considering how sketchy the conditions are right now.

Honestly, things aren't going down without a fight in this town—it’s gonna take a direct hit to finally settle things. I’m actually kind of digging the vibe... it’s definitely going to be intense, but hey, at least we’ll know where we stand when it all hits the bottom. 👍

Man, watching Kocijan play center back is like watching a toddler try to fix a car engine—you just know from the jump there’s zero chance this works. It’s no mystery why everything is falling apart down that right side where we’re missing both our main stopper and Bosec.

But hey, you gotta take what you can get, right? Honestly, Špeljak is probably having the game of his life right now just trying to keep up.

And don't even get me started on the fact that these guys are stepping onto the field wearing jerseys without even last names on them. Seriously?🤣

You know, there are these videos floating around the internet showing what any kind of celebration looks like down in Split. If you actually turn the volume up on those clips, you hear all kinds of... well, let's just say things get colorful. You hear people shouting about New York, or about the Yankees.

And if you watch them again later, you see them just steamrolling right through Manhattan, everyone singing their hearts out while the news reporter stands there holding her microphone, smiling away, and says—I'm quoting here—“Thank you so much, the Yankees really do bring generations together.” HAHAHAH

Well, honestly, you two really ought to be the ones to explain the proper way to carry oneself when dealing with the Big Apple.

You’re really the same type of person who sings directly into the camera now, but give it a few years and you'll be screaming, "Don't look at me, I'm just a college student!" 😵

That is precisely the lens through which we have to view this entire hysterical spectacle. Those of us who have clearly been left isolated on one side, while a large portion of society has drifted into debauchery, sinking into tastelessness, populism, low passions, and a total lack of moral scruples.

They can do whatever they want. They are the arrogant offspring of wealthy parents, and every single sin they commit will be smoothed over. No one possesses the strength or the resources to stand up to them; the state itself has become a hostage to this festival of madness, threats, insults, and noise. And the media? The media plays an especially perfidious role here. Nobody wants to oppose them; nobody wants to ignore them or call them out on their nonsense. Quite the opposite, actually. People cater to them, broadcasting their delusions because, hey, that’s just how they are—flashy, reckless, and hot-headed. But suddenly, there’s a problem with a tweet on a private account? Suddenly, cheering against the home team is the issue? Is that supposedly legitimate now? Or is it not? What exactly was the problem with my cheering for the Arizona Wildcats yesterday?

Just a few years ago, we dealt with an identical festival of indecency and moralizing directed at anyone who dared to cheer against the national team. Now, the very same people who were most heavily crucified back then have stepped into the role of judge. The only difference is they’ve added another particularly touching element—as is common in any story where someone tries to write the rules of what is acceptable and what isn't—which is using innocent, pure children. Good grief, I might actually shed a tear.

One must be cautious; this is absolutely no time for jokes. Because the moment we are living in is truly chilling. When such a distorted and dangerous faction of society is granted this much space and this much power, things cease to be humorous and become matters of serious concern.

You journalistic scum, may you go hungry!

How much money do these absolute clowns get paid to do absolutely nothing? The guy legitimately expressed his hatred for the club they loathe. In response, the other side legitimately expressed their own hatred for him as a counter-reaction.

I honestly don't see any issue with people firing back at him with #fixyourmess. Unless he’s a complete idiot, he knew exactly what kind of backlash was coming, especially since he’s supposedly "representing America" (and I use those quotes loosely because, frankly, I couldn't care less about whoever is crawling under our flag at this tasteless excuse for a festival—sorry, not sorry).

An apology is bottom-of-the-barrel trash.
