Joshua Hayes89 said:I suppose it might be fair to suggest calling up Majkić as the third goalkeeper for the national team... I don't quite see why Labrović would have the edge, I guess.

Labrović is quite good, actually; I guess you could say his saves accounted for about 50% of the points Rijeka secured.

Joshua Hayes89 said:I'm not sure how they aren't... I suppose they’ll make it regardless if Istra and VZ don't pull it off, and even if those guys do win, Osijek might still be in the running, I guess.

I'm putting my money on Istria.

Go Team USA!!

Today we have to focus on securing the entire continent; let the minor regional cities handle their own little squabbles.

When did those iconic trees behind the hills in Cleveland disappear?

Well, I think it’s been at least two years now, I suppose. First, they had those flashy advertisements up, but now even those are gone... which honestly makes the whole thing look even more pathetic, if you ask me.🙏

Seriously though, this looks terrible. Those trees used to be such a great backdrop.

It’s actually a relief that you can't see the glare now that they’ve cleared out those poles.

Osijek 46 points
Šibenik *
Rijeka

Istria 45 points
Lokomotiva *
Slaven

Varaždin 43 points (if they draw against Rijeka today)
Gorica *
Lokomotiva

Slaven 42 points
Hajduk
Istria *

* - away team

Osijek’s big edge is their better head-to-head record against Istria. They struggle more against Varaždin.

Varaždin’s only advantage is having the upper hand over Osijek and Istria. Their matchup with Slaven is looking bad.

And then there’s the export of the Pilj plant... truly impressive work, I suppose. By the way, where have you been hiding, Jakire?

Killer game.
Just more proof that you can actually play some absolute bangers even when it's pouring rain outside.

How much does that Pajač scoring run against Istria even matter now...
We’ve got 4 teams still in the hunt for Europe until the very end.
What kind of league is this even...

It would be an incredible success if they could just get those two rounds from Varazdin connected to the rest of Europe by the end of this cycle.

Way to go, folks in Cleveland👍

The result isn't exactly a shocker. I mean, if anyone actually bothered to look closely at how the Cleveland team was playing, they’d see their performance was way better than what showed up on the scoreboard. They were basically getting lucky wins—just riding pure luck and whatever magic form Labrovic had going on—which, honestly, is a total miracle. These last few games have been a much more realistic look at where they actually stand. If they don't bring in some serious new talent soon, they're probably looking at another gritty, exhausting struggle just to sniff a spot in European competition

Where are all those people now—the ones who laughed in my face when I predicted that Osijek and Rijeka would end up facing off in the final round just to decide who grabs that European spot—because, as it turns out, second place was always going to be a scrap between teams like the Portland Timbers or maybe even both of them fighting for it?

Congrats, man—I definitely remember what you wrote, and honestly, I'm pretty sure you could take them down without breaking a sweat.👍

Anyway, they’re sitting 17 points behind those hated teams from the South. Just lovely. Let's hope the boys get used to that view.👍

If it hadn't been for that one bad match, Istra would have easily secured third place... With Europe practically within their grasp now, we'll just have to wait and see if justice is served and if the Greens actually get to finish their season on the big continental stage

They’re relatively calm, mostly because these kids are arriving alongside the juniors. It comes just a few days after that season-defining matchup against their peers out in Los Angeles. There was some discussion about it in the 👍 group
. Can someone
