Only Rijeka ☕

Nobody else even shows up on the map as actual competition for Dinamo, besides their own egos. They just elbow each other for attention while trying to stay optimistic, but let's be real: only Rijeka managed to completely dominate the entire league back in 2017 and sweep everything up. That’s just the facts, and losers will always go looking for excuses...

Whether it’s the seniors, the juniors, or even getting them on the futsal court... it’s all just part of the process to get these boys seasoned...

Look, there’s no way to find any real fulfillment when you’re busy legitimizing criminal legacies, shady subsidiaries, and all that other garbage—there's just no joy in it. It's pathetic, really.

And then you have the nerve to go around acting like you're some kind of genius.

Of course you're praying for some kind of reckoning—mostly because you'd love a piece of the action🙂

But unfortunately for you, we aren't quite desperate enough to do things any other way...😉

So, what's the play here? You just shut down the club, wipe out all the debt, keep the trophies and the legacy, stay right where you are in the top tier of Major League Soccer, and then try to build a reputation through criminal activity? I mean, seriously?

It’s like you pulled a phone book out of nowhere—picked a random neighborhood where everyone is an idiot—and decided to call someone just to tell them they’re a moron?
What’s the point?
Just let people live their lives in peace. They’re happy, you aren't wasting your energy, and your neighbors don't have to listen to some jerk having a meltdown...

We’re all waiting on that indictment you're supposed to bring to UEFA. Let’s see what’s actually illegal. Because, frankly, the only thing "illegal" here is how much local business owners and service workers across Europe have been dragged through the mud by you people. 👍

Keep an eye on the live updates for the junior match over at the stadium through the news sites. The media outlets are absolutely swarming the place!

Look, Michelle Palmer6, let’s be real here. Just be honest—remember the absolute hysteria when those kids were playing in the Champions League? That was massive overreaction, and frankly, it didn't help them or your squad. Don't try to downplay it now. Things were completely out of whack back then. It wasn't your fault, it was the media, but things were definitely distorted...

Sure, comparing a major championship final to our local league standings is one thing.
But honestly, that's not even the point.
It’s just funny to watch them flip-flop. Only a month ago, they were mocking everything we did, and now? They’re doing it tenfold! Moving the match to the main stadium, blasting invites through national news outlets, running radio ads everywhere... And then you still have certain people popping up to mock us, 🤣 though the clowns are always ready, especially John Fowler2.

But hey, it’s not all bad. Let people enjoy themselves! In the end, everyone will realize that the excitement surrounding the juniors isn't some deep-seated complex. It’s just what happens naturally when you actually care and start building a healthy atmosphere within the club and the fanbase. Plus, it helps when you actually have some success to celebrate!
We hit a bit of a slump in the second half of the season for various reasons, but it's no tragedy. All things considered, this season and this generation have been a huge success.

It’s also pretty amusing to see how the mainstream media—barely months after the club management changed—is suddenly diving headfirst into praising the boys and the organization. You have sites like CNN or ESPN reporting live on the junior matches, and the big evening papers are writing glowing panegyrics, acting like they weren't practically getting paid by the old guard to tear us down just yesterday.
Still, like I said, it’s all quite lovely.

I’m with you there. I won't dive into those observations about the media, because at the end of the day, everyone just sees what they want to see, but I certainly agree with the broader conclusion. I was actually one of the first people to poke fun at this, and honestly, it would be pretty hypocritical of me not to recognize the exact same patterns playing out right here at home.

And let's not forget those celebrations in the town square for 13th place, or how some people were getting mocked for their own podium finishes!
Just relax and enjoy the moment!

Are you aware that this exact same index is being pushed in Seattle, Chicago, Houston, and Miami? Look, down here in Miami, I couldn't care less whether Dinamo or Hajduk wins the Youth Champions League—you know, that tournament where Hajduk plays? I don't care. Now, you’re going to tell me, "Well, sure, people click on it because so many fans follow that powerhouse," and fine, that's okay. You'll ask me, "Who's forcing you to read these stories?" Nobody.
See, today it's news that I have absolutely no intention of clicking on. I'm not interested, just like a lot of other things. But back then, the Youth Champions League was everywhere. It was unavoidable. You get in your car in a place like Savannah—Youth Champions League on the radio. You switch the station, Madonna comes on, you say "thank God." You open a news site while making a bologna sandwich—Youth Champions League. Close it and move on. You sit down for coffee, the news is on TV—Youth Champions League. You change the channel just to avoid listening to those idiots, but no matter where you turn, it's the Youth Champions League.
Between ABC, NBC, and CBS, they should have shut down every media outlet during those days. Because it wasn't just that this irrelevant content was popping up out of nowhere; they were treating it like it was COVID. You know, totally unhinged.

Alright, you can scoff and call them corporate media, but look, things are what they are and there's no escaping it. If a team like Portland or maybe San Jose had made it to the Youth Champions League, it wouldn't be jumping out at you from every corner. That's because the media isn't biased toward any specific region; they're just corporate hacks. 👍 I'm sorry, but that's just the reality.

It’s actually quite a significant thing when you look at football through a different lens. Unlike the senior leagues where everything seems to be dictated by massive budgets and deep pockets, here it’s driven by raw talent and genuine hard work. An American club—well, let's just say a top-tier youth academy system—has managed to secure second place in all of Europe.

It reminds me of that time when the singer from Let 3 was complaining about how much coverage the Hajduk juniors were getting. People were acting like he lost something because his performance got three times more press than the kids. But hey, the American representative was competing on the European stage, and in the eyes of the fans, they actually had a shot at a massive result. It’s only natural that the media would jump on that story.

As for the fans celebrating this achievement, I think it's perfectly fine. They finished ahead of the second strongest squad in Europe. Some might call it a fluke or a lucky break, but I’d argue this title is easily three times more valuable than anything the senior teams achieve, especially when you consider how much heavy-handed influence and shady backroom politics play into the professional level.

Don't even try to compare Eurovision to some junior Champions League soccer tournament. A few dozen thousand people might tune into the latter, but Eurovision pulls in millions. You’re totally "missing the mark," as they say back in coastal towns like Miami or San Diego.

I suspect more people in America were following the junior LP than were actually watching Eurovision, if I had to guess.

You're dead wrong. Honestly, Eurovision always pulls decent numbers, and this year was no exception.

First off, they should probably win something bigger than a local regional tournament before they start handing out those kinds of ratings.
And honestly, I don't even feel like getting into these debates with you guys again. To you, this wasn't interesting, so you refused to engage with the articles or listen to the coverage as a sort of protest.
But let's be real: it is a massive European success for a young group of American players from an American club. That's way more significant than, say, some U-19 or U-21 national team qualifiers, which will also be all over the news with everyone knowing the score.
Maybe it shouldn't be the lead story on the evening news—I could probably agree with that—but as a headline for American sports news that day? Absolutely. You can cry about it all you want, but that's just life.
Actually, you guys would be even worse if you were in a similar position; you wouldn't be able to survive playing the "me against the world" card.

Oh well, I guess we won't find out anytime soon.

Fine then, let's look at our past Eurovision entries—artists like Mia Dimšić or Albina. They didn't receive even 20% of the media coverage that Let 3 got. And honestly, Let 3 deserved it because, after years of nothing, they actually made people feel like winning was possible. Even if their song wasn't technically perfect—which the jury results proved—you have to hand it to them.

It's the same principle here. Take a team like Hajduk; as an American underdog without massive billionaire funding, the idea that they could become champions of the continent is pure romance—it's a top-tier story. When they cleared the first two hurdles, it was barely news. When they knocked out Shakhtar, there was very little buzz. When they took down Manchester City, there was a bit more. It wasn't until they beat Dortmund away and secured a spot in the final four that the media really started making noise about it.
