Hey everyone! I was hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction with a quick question πŸ™‚

So, here’s the situation: I’ve got a handful of people who are going to be filming various clips, each lasting somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes.
The plan is for them to upload everything to Google Driveβ€”I'm assuming that'll work since there's about 15 GB of space available. My goal is to grab all those files, edit them together into one cohesive project, and then host the final version somewhere else so others can easily download it.

1. Does anyone know of a solid, free video editing program that can actually handle longer footage like this without crashing or being a total nightmare to use?

2. Also, is there a reliable way to host about ten of these videos on a single server or platform where they'd be easy for people to download?

Thanks so much in advance if anyone has any tips or suggestions! πŸ™‚

Dropbox gives you 50 GB for free. If that’s still not enough for your needs, I’m pretty sure Google Drive offers about 100 GB at no cost...

Hey, quick question about email accounts. Back at the end of 2013, Mail.ru was handing out 1TB of storageβ€”does anyone happen to have some extra accounts they aren't using? Or maybe someone is looking to sell a few of those 1TB email addresses...

Best,

Look, if you're only hunting for the storage capacity, everyone gets 1TB when they sign up for a Google account anyway...

I don't actually need the email spaceβ€”what I really need is massive storage for video files. My old hard drives just gave up the ghost on me, taking all my footage with them, so now I’m stuck re-uploading everything to the cloud...

Honestly, you’d be better off just picking up a new external hard drive for backups. Relying on the cloud isn't exactly fast, and it certainly isn't secure. Do you have any idea how long it would take to upload, say, 100 GB using a sluggish connection from Comcast? You’d probably be waiting ten days minimum.

So, I stumbled upon this deal where they're giving away 1 TB for freeβ€”I just logged in and everything seems to be working fine, so if anyone's interested, feel free to give it a shothttps://www.dubox.com/disk/home#/all...;2F&vmode=list
