What can I even say? Might be better if I just show you the pics πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

What should I do here? Is it the drivers?

Try reinstalling the drivers, but you gotta wipe these out first

How are you even determining if you're only using "half" the CPU versus the whole thing?
Am I supposed to just scroll through pictures and hope to see "Intel Core i3 " listed somewhere?

Or are we talking about clock speeds? You know, how mobile processors are supposed to throttle depending on the load?

To looks to me like what happens when you manually throttle the processor clock speed right in the BIOS; I’ve actually run into that exact same issue before... and then when you go to check the system properties, it just shows you a lower number than it should.

Hmm, processors automatically adjust their clock speeds based on how much work they're doingβ€”especially mobile ones, just to save power. In my opinion, this isn't actually a malfunction...

You should probably jump into your computer's BIOS and start poking around the menus; there’s usually an option tucked away in there somewhere to disable that specific processor behavior...

Can we actually agree on something here? Should I just start messing around with the BIOS settings?

It might just be that Intel SpeedStep is acting up. Honestly, if your laptop is running smoothly and everything feels fine, then there's probably nothing to worry about, right? You might want to double-check your BIOS settings just to be sure, though.
