Can I still edit my posts after logging out?

So, here's the thing... after I finish a post and log out, the edit option just vanishes when I sign back in. Is this happening to everyone else, or did I mess up some setting somewhere? Or am I just blind and missing where it went 🤷 ..
On every other forum I hang out on, I can still edit my stuff after logging out and back in, so this has me a bit thrown 😕

Bravo.... just my luck when I finally track everything down... I mean, isn't it always the same story? You spend an hour digging, you finally find what you need, and then—poof—those options just vanish into thin air after an hour or two...

Depends on the thread, I guess. I was tracking one once, and after barely an hour, the EDIT button just vanished from my post... who knows what kind of rules they've got running behind the scenes? Honestly, I don't have the energy to go around reposting everything everywhere, and I'm certainly not going to sit there with a stopwatch counting down the minutes...

But look, playing it safe with an hour is probably better. If there's any time left over, hey, even better for the folks running on dial-up speeds or whatever...😁

The setting is global, so there isn't a way to toggle editing or deleting per individual topic. You can enable or disable it by sub-forum, but once it's turned on, the rules apply across the board.
