Nobody is a moderator of anything except themselves. If things worked exactly the way you're describing, we wouldn't even need moderators in the first place. Let's set aside the valley of tears and the noble new world for a moment and return to reality. ☕
However, if you insist that bluerider2 is a grandmaster, then all those previous posts you keep citing are clearly failing to bear fruit. 😕 Now, you're actually starting to worry me.

Look, here’s my take. When I eventually land on the Social Science sub-forum—or when one of my kids takes over for me tomorrow—I just don't want to be greeted by a pack of rude forum trolls who kill any desire to read, let alone the drive to actually learn something new.
But if you want to prevent that, you and everyone else posting there need to step up.
There is also another issue. It's glaringly obvious you have some unresolved personal beef with Paul Price34, because every single critique you aim at Social Science seems to pivot back to her. Until you settle that within yourself, I don't think you can be an effective moderator. Honestly, it's starting to look like you might just abuse the position.

🤣It turns out the brilliant LNP20 was right all along when they claimed that the only way to get anything constructive done is to separate Social Science from the linguists. 🤣

Certain idioms and proverbs become quite apparent in situations like this—one might suggest: I’ll stick to the woods, while you, bluerider2, take the drum!!
After pages upon pages of text, we have finally moved from a dead end, and the desire for a sub-moderator has at last been understood and accepted.

As for this idea of coordinated group action—well, I am left without any clever or concrete responses there. By suggesting that, you are effectively negating everything written regarding the complaints about the inappropriate level of communication from numerous forum members previously mentioned. In other words, you are refusing to accept the fact that there really is a number of "non-coordinated" participants here who possess, shall we say, "sensitive ears," and perhaps a slightly higher threshold for self-respect and dignity!

From what has been written above, am I to understand that you find it impossible that a few people could have agreed that certain comments became too offensive and rude!?

You got what you wanted (at least from those of you actually trying to be helpful). The subforum is getting another moderator. To be clear, the subforum isn't "falling apart"—there are just a few trolls and some rude people hanging around (just like any other subforum 😉 ).
